We travel to see our nephew with the Miami Dolphins and we have used Hotwire and have been very satisfied in Denver and Boston. However, I just booked a hotel in Peoria, Arizona tonight and was matched with the La Quinta hotel in Peoria, Arizona, for a rate of $113, which I thought was ok. I must say. I am so embarrassed for Port of Spain/Trinidad. I travel to Trinidad often. And this was my first stay at a hotel. So staying at the most historical place was very exciting " at first". Atleast until I began to notice the poor, shabby pieces of furniture placed throughout the establishment for us to sit on. The pool hours being closed at the times we wanted to lay by or take a dip. I too am a long time tmobile customer. For the 2008 free companion ticket I was awarded 4 tickets 1 for each line I renewed. This was perfect because I was planning 2 trips and I knew I could use the tickets for me and my friends. However, I got nowhere on the tickets. In 2008, I was enrolled in at Florida Tech for one semester. I went through all the normal filings with registration and financial aid. I was told my financial aid was processed okay, by Kelli Jenkinson, and I went on with school for that semester. In August 2009 my family stayed at this hotel and won accommodation vouchers in their birthday promo. We were told that we could stay anytime and simply make a booking and present our voucher on check in. I did this. We arrived on Saturday 20th Feb at 3pm. I was told on check in by Duty manager Thabi Mabille that the vouchers which were signed by the old GM would not be accepted by the new GM Joseph Schmid because it was a rule that he made. I booked the 3 bedrooms sea view challet which is supposed to be their best and the price is even more than the most luxorious and modern in Cairo. All owners have received a special assessment due to their sales in timeshares dropping and some owners are not paying their maintenance fees. They have assessed all owners almost $500 and given them 30 days to pay this "special Assess, emt" If not paid then we are going to be sent to collections. We also have been charged late fees and interest fees. I have been told I cannot sell, trade or use my timeshare until we pay. I would like to complain against Platform GmbH of Switzerland, who sold me a train trip onboard the ESNTrain for 700 Dollars. ESN stands for Erasmus Student Network. This private sleeper train would have brought me on a 12 day journey from Vienna to Zuerich, Rome, Zagreb, and Budapest. The train never appeared in Vienna and was cancelled. I went to a vacation package presentation where I was given a "free" cruise from Spirit Incentives. I give them 3 dates and they tell you that you will receive a confirmation email at least 45 days before the first date you selected. I make a call to Spirit Incentives to see if there is a deadline by which I have to confirm my plans. We went to Polo Towers to use our time share in dec. 2009. At the time, Diamond resorts took over the Hotel. We decided to listen to their sales pitch concerning points. After listening to them for 3 hours they gave us a deal for 2500 points with the yearly option to convert the polo timeshare into points as well. The annual fees as stated are 750 dollars for the deal. What they didn't say was the Fees was only for the 2500 points and that the time share at polo Towers remain about the same. I am looking for the other 4 passengers who missed this flight on account of wrong information on the screen at the entrance to gate D and the names of the passengers not being called. LaQuinta's Abilene, Texas hotel on Catclaw is listed on their website and elsewhere and gives the distinct impression that it is open for business. IT IS NOT! We made a reservation online for that location and they sent us a confirmation. I rented a home from Charles Wiebe in October, 2009, for my daughter's wedding. I stayed at this establishment on 2/13/2010 to celebrate Valentines Day. With-in the rooms I had rose petals, candles and incense. There are no-smoking signs posted all around the facility and consequence information if there was smoking in the room.
