I paid for a return flight from Birmingham to Cork The airline cancelled the flight 15 days before departure. I have sent 2 registered letters requesting a refund. We have stayed at Turtle Bay Resort & Hotel on North Shore Oahu, Hawaii. We have been burglarized by somebody with Hotel issued elec. key card used to enter our room. Substantiation amount of our property has been stolen. Hotel management failed to respond to our phone calls or registered emails. They never talked to us. Period. I went into Thompson to book my holiday to Florida via Jet save. In January they told me that the hotel I booked at Travelodge has been closed due to Health&Safety issues and that the Hotel they offered was the Continental Plaza I looked this hotel up and it was rated as a 1 star and didn't have the shuttles running to the Disney resort and Orland resort free. I stayed in this hotel/apartments in from 09-17 Oct 2009. The room was nice but followed is what was stated on thier website: "Please note that there may be some minor fit out work in Think Bermondsey Street until the end of October 2009." There are giant roaches, kids pee in the jacuzzi that is room temp, one out of the two pieces of workout equipment works on a continuous basis and the front desk people NEVER know what the hell is going on! British Airways charged me a fee for rebooking flights. The flights were connecting in Heathrow, but due to BA's lack of providing the right connection time, I missed my plane and so they charged me 90£ for booking a new flight. During our 6 day stay here at 220 Gulf Blvd, VRBO # 153137, we were miserable. The noise outside the bedrooms were so loud at all hours of the day that we actually had to pull the roll away beds to a different part of the condo to try and sleep. Trucks & motorcycles sounded as though they were actually IN the bedroom with us. The rudest hotel owner I have ever met. David Wilson made me feel sick. He threatened and then immediately requested that I, my husband and our 8 month old (who I had in my arms) leave his "hotel" . My mother was contacted by phone and talked into purchasing a vacation package over the phone. When booking the trip we were not told of the time share connection and that we HAD to attend to get our voucher for the cruise we PAID for. We received the vacation voucher and were contacted by WorldWide Travel Center, and we setup reservations for the location they had available.
