My husband flew to New Zealand with Swiss and Singapore Airlines. He is a photographer so he travels with a lot of equipment. He was charged 2500 CHF in excess luggage one way - that is more than he paid for the ticket to begin with. I was flying business class from Brisbane to Auckland. The bath room did not work on this old aircraft! To make it worse - the fasten seat belt sign was constantly on unnecessay - I had to rush all the way to the back from row 1 to join the long lines - and was requested by the "no so considerate flight staffs" THREE TIMES to return to my seat.

Horror- horror- horror! Our room was changed after I called to complain the toilet was filthy with feces, area around sofa and bed not vacuumed, sheets touching floor-not properly tucked (new policy it’s not mandated anymore??) as the manager explained and inspected first hand.

I recently attended Bentley Travels presentation with my husband. My husband both agreed we were not going to purchase anything before hand and we did not. We were told that we would get 2 free airline tickets to any where we wanted. We were told to mail in this voucher and we would get them. I now have recieved a letter stating that we did not send the letter certified and we did not give 90 days. We would not told this before hand. We did not pick any location, this was suppose to be before hand. I got a letter back now stating that it is now void and no longer available. I booked a 12000RS online ticket BOM-BKK, paid at the Nariman offices of Thai Airways, was told 2 days before the flight that it was cnacelled, booked a flight with JetAir and found out at the airport that the Thai light was operating as scheduled. SAA - East London
I've been charged R1626.00 rebooking and penalties for me and my two boys on 14/8/2009 for being 10 min late for our 6:40am flight???Re-scheduled flight was suppoese to leave 8:00am we only boarded 7:50. I've got all this in writing from staff @ boarding gate etc.
I feel i experienced the worst customer service and this from a senior person.
Not everybody has got funds to re-pay and I want a refund even if I need to take this to the daily dispatch paper with staff names etc.

The Delta Sky Miles American Credit Card is worthless. HARDLY NO ONE takes this card. My husband and I switched from the old VISA for miles to this one. We try to charge everything so that we can get Delta miles since Delta took over. Well, how can we get miles when no one wants to charge our card? We can't. We know that American Express bought them off so that Delta would use this card - BUT how do they expect to get customer loyalty when we can't build up Delta miles?

I recently had a layover at Schipol, on my way back to the States. I had bought very expensive duty free cosmetics at Munich. The duty free shop in Munich checked my flight, and were aware of my itinerary. My goods were sealed and I was told not to open it until I reached my final destination. However, as I was transfering in Schipol, the security guard told me one of the cosmetics in my sealed bag was too large so he proceeded to tear the bag open and discard the item. Went on a family vacation to Las Vegas. Booked a room through Priceline.com to name your own price. Picked Sahara Hotel and Casino which said they were a 2 1/2 star hotel for $40 per night. Also, paid the hotel an extra $20 per night to upgrade. Found a pool of blood in the stairwell and pubic hairs in the sheets. Princess Cruise Lines
I went on a Princess cruise this summer. Although these problems may seem minor, what upset me most about this cruise line is they did nothing to fix them or make me feel like I was a valuable customer. When I got home, I mailed this letter to the President of Princess and two other senior level people. I mailed this over a month ago and got no response. If you plan on sailing Princess and have any issues, dont expect them to be resolved or even given consideration for your feelings. Amazing Destinations
My wife and i booked a 10 day tour of Argentina from one of the reputedly largest south american tour companies which specialize in such tours. Half way into the tour we were left stranded in the tiny airport of el calafate, argentina ( small town in patagonia)because our tour company did not pay the local tour operators or hotels for the rest of our trip. I made my $50 deposit, submitted the days and destinations that I wanted, and they were unable to get reservations. So I requested a refund of my deposit. That's when the trouble started. I waited the 60 days, and no refund. I called several times and no one returned my calls. No one in the refund department has EVER answered the phone. I've experienced a total nightmare with the RIU Santa Fe. I booked my wedding with them. I"ve never been treated so poorly by anyone in the travel business as I did by RIU staff. We went to the seminar for 8pm did not get out until 11:30pm it started at 9900 for life package =+159 pe week fee then 359 per cruise per person
We told them we wanted to research prior to paying they got very fustrated and the lifetime member fee came down too 6000
However I then stated no matter what price you give me I am not going to slide my card aywhere untill I have done my research!

Gatwick Airport UK; security staff
On August 24, 2009 at approximately 5pm, my prescription glasses emerged broken from the security scan (scanner 2/3) at Gatwick Airport terminal for British Airways/Iberia to Barcelona. I was so shocked and angry that I was in tears, holding up my glasses; they could not have failed to notice me. My husband was also trying to get their attention, but they were so busy verbally abusing the female passenger ahead of me that we were totally blanked.

Me and my husband we were trying to buy tickets for family vacation.
We dont know what happened, just in one second, "The price was accepted" that was poped up!
My hus said he was writing a big money in the blank box for fun.
But he didnt push "buy my ticket now" button at all!!!(why he would click it!)
That was too much for us. We couldnt afford it. We were so sad to pay that amount money.

I have recently stayed in one of your resorts, Harbourgate Marina Club. I have to rate my stay as one star. The worst part of the whole experience was the service. I have never before received such a poor service in any hotels I stayed in from my travels in US, Asia, Europe, as I did in your resort. This event venue, took a $750 depost from my dad for my wedding.. And then completely changed management, and raised our total bill for the day $3, 000. We said that at that price point it was out of our price range and we would have to go somewhere else for our wedding.. They would not return our deposit. My wife, two children and I had a six night stay at Beaches Boscobel. Unfortunately, it was among the worst vacations that I've ever had. So many things went wrong during our stay, I can scarcely compile them all.
Chronologically:
1) It took over thirty-five minutes for us to check-in. After two flights and a two and a half hour bus ride with a two-year old and a nine-month old, this is by no means acceptable. We need a place as soon as possible to change diapers, nurse, etc.

I recently went on holiday, for my daughter's wedding, to East London, SA. I flew AirZim from Harare to Jo'burg without any hitch. However, I was barred from checking-in because the counter claimed my passport to have 1 day less than 6 month before expiry (my passport expiry date was 9 Feb 2010). I visited Italy last September. In 2009 approximately 7-8 months after the fact I received (three) violations from the Municipality of Florence. The infractions are electronic and were taken within six minutes of each other which would mean they were taken by cameras strategically arranged to snap your photo in a consecutive manner.
