Last year we were given ticket vouchers that were offered to us for taking a later flight. When we try to use them we are told that there are no flights available. They said that the tickets could be used to go anywhere. They kept my wife and I on the phone for over an hour pretending they were checking different dates. It was all a scam. We went to texas on delta airline April 3, 09 it rained .When arriving in Georgia the flight was delayed, 8 of us traveled toghter, had to seperate because they couldnt get us on the same flight, upon return we missed our flight, but no compasation on the tickets we had to get a hotel room for an extra night and purcash new tickets at full price.so we paid another 1, 048.00 for 6 tickets to return to Chicago after paying over 2.500 for 8, round trip tickets to get there. There is nothing in our contract about the Special Assessment we are told we need to pay. This is on top of our maintenance fee. If we need to make an exchange through RCI we need to go through Raintree and they never have any trades for us. A big rip off. read full review »

Mexico Paradise Getaway is a giant scam! Do not use there services for any reason what-so-ever unless you want to be scammed out of at less $400.00. There will put you on hold, schedule vacation time with you and then a few days before pull the rug out from under you and tell you there is trouble with the trip and expect that you will reschedule, and then keep repeating this process until the you are scammed out of the $400.00. I worked for this company for 2 weeks and it was a %100 scam. The company was owned by Jason Wall aka Jurgen Wall Husband of Lina Wall. Jason encuraged his sales reps to make false promises "anything to get the sale" as this company never sold or rented 1 single timeshare. I book a 4 star hotel that was accepted and ended up with maybe 2 star - the Westin Las Vegas. I pleaded with Priceline weeks before and no answer except person that could barely speak english telling me that it is was a four star hotel. DO NOT use their site to get tickets! I was trying to buy a ticket online and their site crashed, so I called Mexicana and they told me that the reservation was already lost and that the transaction was not applied. I finally got my ticket on expedia.com; to my surprise my credit card statement came with not just one but TWO charges from mexicana.com for the full price of the ticket!! We purchased 30 vacations from TAN in2007 for 12, 000. Each vacation is for a one bedroom condo for 1 week in a variety of locations. Our sales pitch was given by a company inCincinnati named Smart Travel. It was a bitter experience staying in this Hotel. I am repenting staying there. Room was not up to standard. It was a super deluxe but was not up to standard. It Was on the top floor, very noisy as there was lot of disturbance from adjacent rooms. There were no proper almirahs/lockers to put your clothes. No cupboards to put your shoes. I wish I had checked out Holiday Inn - Cancun Arenas more throughly. The hotel had terrible food -staff was rude-showers would not drain- hardly any Americans staying there-felted like we were in danger.Small Cramped beaches. Not located by anything-really the ghetto part(of hotels). Don't rent a car-you're a target for the local police. We were returning from an evening out and was stopped by police. The first complaint was about the hotel. I was unsatisfied with having no privacy on the balcony and also there were waterbugs on the balcony. I travel to Myrtle Beach every year and this was the worst experience I ever had. It was not a hotel I stayed at it was a motel and it was not worth the money. I recently had lunch at the Willard Hotel (June, 2009). It is all hype. The food was fine but the table was full of dust, I looked up at the light fixtures and I couldn't believe a fine hotel of this nature could be so filthy. If the public space and resturant areas are this dirty, I wonder about the kitchen. I used to be a frequent visitor to the Willard when my Father was with the UN.
