I bought a MIO GPS which I had owned only five months when the screen cracked. I had programmed a destination in the GPS one evening and then lef it in my car overnight . The next morning when I pressed on the screen to activate it the screen cracked. Apparently the screen became brittle overnight from the cold. I booked a room through Hotels.com for one night in London on 12 Feb 2009 which amounted to £74.75p. When my credit card statement came through there were 2 separate amounts, both listed as Ian Travel Services. The first was for a sum of £149.73 listed as 28 Jan 2009. There was then the correct amount of £74.75p listed as the 1 Feb 2009. I have absolutely no knowledge of any amount for £149.73p and did not book or authorise this amount. You may find a recuring charge on your CC or checking account that looks something like this: TLG*GREATFN########JUN 800-290-8603. In my case it was a scam set up by Priceline (I'm sure Shatner would NOT apporve). Appparently there was some sort of descrite checkbox or something that was checked when I purchased a flight. Whatever the case, I called the number on my bill and had Great Fun remove the charges. This sort of thing is absolutely unscrupulous. I resent when companies do this sort of thing.
