I puchased an extended warranty on my washers i bought from sears and they have had to come out a few times. I told them it was for a business and that we do laundry for 17 Cabins which are not rented out all the time at the same time. Each time they have had to come fix them it takes 2 weeks to come out then they have to order parts. Well the part comes in then it takes another 2 weeks for them to come back out to fix it only to find only half the parts came in or the part that came in is the wrong part. Sears came out and gave us an estimate on a central air and heat unit, when it was installed a smaller air unit was put it. Should of had a smaller bill because unit was a cheaper unit. I called Travelex Money Transfer to ask them if they charge a commission fee when they exchange currency. They said they don't. They also told me that they will not charge a service fee on my money. I had to ask my friend to exchange 1100 US dollars for me because I was very busy that day. When he came back, I saw the receipt and couldn't believe that they gave me 9.49 pesos to one US dollar. I registered with Insta Money, but the process was inconsistent with what was described in the FAQ. Aspects of the website raised warning bells, but I went ahead and deposited £100 into Insta Money's RBS account, which is where it disappeared. I received a postcard from Great Fun saying membership fees had gone up and 13.99 and would be charged to my credit card if I did not cancel membership. Say what?!!! I called the number given and told them I wanted to cancel. It appears, unbeknownst to me, my credit card was charged each month for service since January or before(my fault in not noticing) . most days dsl is not available to me. when it finally does appear to be working it is for a very short lived amount of time. it works out to be available for my use to get on line or retrieve e mail far less often than it is not available. this has been going on for weeks. what gives and how are you planning to make financial reparation for all the lack of use of a non working dsl? don't even give me the option of having a service ticket or phone help. been there done that. read full review »

I suppose it was our fault for not checking the small print, but we missed a flight from Athens due to a (separate and independently booked) flight on a different carrier being canceled due to technical reasons. Stranded on a Greek island - not as nice as it sounds unfortunately! We were not covered (domestic flights not being considered public transport).The person on the phone was not sympathetic to our plight, merely stating, 'sorry sir you're not covered!'. My advice is to never purchase an AXA travel insurance policy from AXA or Essential Travel, not now or in the future. Their policy was not worth the paper it was printed on. Select Insurance are part of IGAS & White Horse Insurance Ireland LTD. They have a clause (19) on their insurance policy stating that if you have any alcohol whatsoever and you have an accident & need to claim whilst still having alcohol consumption in your body your claim is invalid, this was not highlighted to me when purchasing the policy. Adrian Flux Travel Insurance never passed on my details so when I called for assistance I had none. I had no calls back to me after 24hrs so decided I had to make my own arrangements. I don't have a credit card so drove my car home from Germany and caused £13, 000 of damages. Ombudsman has confirmed Flux are at fault and awarded me £200 for a clerical error. Then you have to pay $15 - $35 processing fee to register each and every certificate with Vacation Getaways in Dublin, CA. I noticed the charges after a few months. My credit card company closed my account (credit only half the charges) and opened a new account with a new number for me.
