My complaint is about the airport its self rather than your airline, i flew from dubai into amsterdam on the 6th july 08. I scheduled a July flight back in May. Last week, I had abdominal surgery and was told I caanot fly (or do much anything else) for six weeks. Midwest wanted to reissue the ticket within one year, and with a letter from the physician, "maybe" waive the reissue fee. Sounds somewhat reasonable right? This describes my evaluation of Gate1's "11 Day Athenian with 3-Day Cruise" package in June 2008. Gate1"s contract hotels are not anywhere close to 5 or 4 stars, as advertised. I was an employee at the mandara spa downtown at the hilton. i just want to say that as an employee, i was very mistreated. but i wasn't the only one. The management there is RIDICULOUS! They play favorites, talk behind each other and employees backs and talk about personal issues that concern employees out in the open. We stayed at the Best Western New Englander in Woburn, MA on May 21-22, 2008. We used a Roomsaver coupon discounting the room by $40. Manager ignored repeated calls. I had a nightmare with this travel agency. I called them to book my tickets. The quoted a fare and on confirmation charged a different fare. On our flight in business class from Denver (11:26am MT) to Atlanta on July 3, 2008 I was in seat 3F. The headphone jack was broken not allowing me access to music. I did not mention it to the flight attendant as I knew nothing could be done at that time anyway. We were already in the air. And it was my first time in First class! This is an official complaint against Hilton, Pittsburgh Hotel which violated the reservation guaranteed for late arrival per their own rates and cancellation policy. The staff at this hotel were some of the worst I have ever encountered. Days Inn charged $600 for our stay but also with-held $600 for using a debit card, without telling myself. We were not informed until we arrived that the pool was not available & had not been so for quite awhile. We also were not informed that there was a problem with the air conditioning. As a result our trip was cut short. We were not able to stay in the room due to the high room temperature. The hallways were also heated. This is to complaint about the GIFT TICKET FEE of $18.00 charged to my purchase for using my credit card to purchase a bus ticket for my wife. I believe this is a rip off.
