Purchase a trip to Italy through AAA and Trafalgar tours. Went to LAX to board on March 8, 2008 and my husbands ticket had been canceled by Trafalgar tours. No explanations. Spanair lost our luggage on our flight from Zurich, Switzerland to Barcelona, Spain. Despite numerous phone calls and three letters requesting compensation, we have yet to be compensated. Phone calls to baggage services of Spanair are absolutely fruitless, as no one I've spoken can give me any information, except that the bag is still missing. I have been trying to redeem this voucher for a free 2 night hotel stay and dinner for two since Feb. 14, 2008. The instructions say that you need to give 30 days notice for your date/stay request and that you will be contacted within 10days of receipt of the voucher. After 1 month has passed since I sent in the voucher without anyone contacting me, I called the phone number for TLC Marketing and requested info on my stay request. Returned item but was never reimbursed. Worse experience ever. We ordered a kitchen sink at a very good price and it was delivered fine. Our renovation plans changed, however, so we decided to eat the crazy restocking fee and return the sink. After the painful ordeal of getting an RMA #, we followed the return procedure exactly. We received a letter in the mail that if we attended a 90 minute seminar we would receive 2 free airline tickets to fly with Southwest Airline. We attended the meeting, declined the offer to buy in on their program but were told we were promised the airline tickets and would receive them. OK be careful when making your reservations... This trip has GOT to be the WORST vacation ever with even WORSE customer service. The reservations group made a mistake and since we arrived after a 14 hour drive on the weekend, they cant accommodate our handicapped guest and handicapped child. Isn't that nice??? I was getting my childrens pictures taken and the lady that did them was just plain out rude. I was only aloud to get one package of each one of the kids and 1 8 by 10 of both of them together and i was not very happy. I booked flights on Cheaptickets.com. After returning from the trip, I noticed a charge on my credit card for Travel Insurance. I called the company 'Access America' to dispute the charge. They explained that as of Dec 3, you have to opt out of paying for travel insurance when booking on cheaptickets.com and could not issue a refund over the phone. I emailed the company and was promptly refused. I emailed Cheaptickets and they referred me back to the the insurance company. I saw no mention of travel insurance. I never buy it.
