Applied to a job through a recruiter, Scientific Search. The next day I received a call. We spoke and she said it looked good but she wanted to show her manager. A short time thereafter another call gave me a green light. She was going to submit me the next morning. At 8:00 am the next morning I received an e-mail saying the job had just been filled, but at 8:15 the job was re-posted on her social networking page!! All she had to do was say I wasn't a good fit, or not really qualified. She never responded to my subsequent e-mail. As many others I now find I, too, was victim of a SCAM ad regarding a netbook (EZ netbook). Had to have a debit card (no credit cards accepted) and there was no return unless product defective. I had this guy do tree work for me this spring/summer. Brought his crew out took down all the trees that were to be taken down. In the contract is stated wood and brush would be removed. Wood and brush were never removed. Each time I would call I would get some other excuse and he would be out tomorrow to finish up. Shame on me for paying him in full the day he said he would be done. I ate at this Melting Pot tonight with a group of 8 mothers getting together for a fun girl's night out away from the kids. One mother in our group asked about a special she had heard about for $30 per couple that included cheese, chocolate, and a salad after 9pm. I would never suggest anyone do business with Compass. The managers are trained to avoid you. The Branch Manager in Jacksonville had to ask his boss permission to put me through to his voice mail. If you do not believe me, call your Compass Branch location and ask to speak with the Branch Manager...Good Luck ! We chose this guy to do a mortgage audit over a pricey loan modification. He answers his emails and phone until he gets a big fat check. Then nothing.(It's been two months.) I just discovered that MVQ has been "double dipping" and taking funds from my account although I never opened an account with them or even knew who they until now. When I called about getting a refund I was given the run around and was told that I can only get 3 months of refunds. A few weeks ago, we received a letter from Secure Horizons claiming that my 93-year old mother owes $528.00 in premiums. The letter did not state what the premiums were for. As I have medical POA for my mother, I called the company immediately upon receipt of the letter in an attempt to resolve the matter. After signing up for what I thought was a newsletter, I was then charged $2.97. No problem. But, I replied to an email that I wanted to cancel and a refund. No reply. Next day I was charged $68.71. In September 2010 my husband and I put a $2K deposit on a 2008 Toyota Camry at this dealership. We requested a CarFax report on the vehicle and the dealership (General Sales Manager Marty Hall/Salesman J. Bryan Bernardo) said they would fax it to my work the following morning, which they did. This company is appalling!! They take your money straight away, not when the job is completed as stated. They took a month to complete the job, not a week - and even then it was done wrong. At the time of writing it has been a month since then and no corrective action has been taken. Credit never given for return - Purchased fireplace screen from this retailer, item of POOR quality, returned item and followed all return policy procedures. Have UPS tracking number which names the individual who signed for the item. Three months and many phone calls later I have yet to receive a credit. I have spoken many times to a supervisor in customer service. They have stated that I will receive my credit, but I have yet to get it. I have filed a "dispute" with my credit card company and hope they can help me. This has been a very frustrating situation. I do NOT recommend this retailer. They are a bogus company, there adress is a vaccant parking lot at 45 Exchange BLVD, Rochester NY. The are very persuasive people and you must send hundreds of dollars to get a loan via western union. They want to fax you loan doccuments and then you fax back the sighned contract then send the money, then you must give them your bank account number so they can send you a direct deposit within 48 hours.
