Autodesk abuses customers? I have supported Autodesk since 1987, installing it in several employers’ offices, and even purchasing it myself. When Designer came out I bought it ahead of its release. I then upgraded to Mechanical Desktop when it was released. I continued on the subscription until 2008, when they both ruined Mechanical Desktop, and then dropped the product. I am hitting a wall trying to get IBSN Tax to represent me for my 2007 Tax Assessment Notice. I got query from state and I am unable to get in touch with anobody at IBSN with emails or calls. The US phone lines have got a standard message "Route is busy, please try again later" and the same is the case with the India phone lines. I don't even know what they did to the emails I sent them. Its been 5 days of trying to contact them and nothing at all. I am hearing a lot over the forums that this is not a good company to deal with as sensitive information as Tax. 6/29 called Davis Sand & Gravel (aka Bama Concrete) to get pricing for delivery of gravel for my gravel driveway (~1/10 mile). I did not know what type of gravel I needed. I have brought APC Back-UPS ES 500 for my wireless router (approx 12W load) power supply in case of power failure. Recently I have noticed that UPS is getting shutdown within 6 mins of power failure. I have called APC tech support for resolving this issue. They have told me that I need to connect at least 50W of load so that it will work as per the specs. This minimum load was not mentioned in the manual or "Run Time Chart" (provided at their website). I purchased a second hand Scorpio 2003 model and right now it has completed around 60, 000 kms. I have spent a fortune maintaininmg the Scorpio. This year alone I have spent close to Rs 1 lac on maintenace. I find the dealer and the company completely indifferent to the high cost of maintenance. I also get the feeling that since this is the older model the company has lost all interest in this model. Is the life of the Scorpio only 4-5 years? I would not recommend the Scorpio to anyone and I have been activly disuuading many people from going in for the Scorpio. read full review »

We signed a contract with a Custom Patio Rooms representative Dec. 19, 2006. We have paid $150.00 with one check and then $3089.00 with two other checks. All three checks have been cashed. In May 2007 someone called to say they would be to our house the next week. That is the last time we have heard from anyone from Custom Patio Rooms. We have since found out that all three locations in Western New York have closed. I think we have been treated very poorly by Custom Patio Rooms and no longer want to do business with them. I recently enrolled in Radiant Restaurant Guard ( a worthy program) in exchange for switching my processing to RBS via Radiant. In the process of switching they entered a wrong digit for my American Express merchant number. All my AMEX deposits went out into the ethernet and NOT into my bank account.
