Chuck scammed me and my family. He posted his Marriott timeshare for the Marriott Summit Watch at Park City on Craigslist. He told me he was a Marriott rewards member and he had timeshare there. We mailed him checks for 2 weeks - Christmas week ($1415) and 1 week in January for Sundance ($560). He cashed them and sent us Marriott confirmation numbers and Marriott confirmed them. We checked in and found out Chuck is not a Marriott rewards member so he could not have booked our reservation using his member's time. So we were charged full price - $700 a night. I bought a Netgear FA120 wired USB network adapter in January 2006. It had a 5 year warranty... which would cover it through January 2011. It functioned perfectly until a month ago, so I called Netgear Customer Support to get an RMA. I was informed that they no longer support the device and that they did not have a suitable replacement, and could do NOTHING for me. Basically the five year warranty is USELESS! You may want to just see if the CSR can help you before you begin with your impolite manner. It is a form of abuse to act like this way to someone who has to take it. If you were in public, you could very well by cited for disorderly conduct. Perhaps the laws need to change. Everyone now knows that there was the possibility of your food being spit on in the kitchen by the waitress when you were rude to her. Keep in mind CSR's have some lee-way on how your situation will be resolved. Be impolite and you may win the argument; but you may not get the best resolution. read full review »

I have a service warranty from Sears to cover a Maytag Neptune Washing Machine. This company DOES NOT KNOW HOW TO PERFORM CUSTOMER SEVICE ON ANY LEVEL! In Oct. 2004, I bought a Sears 5 h.p. 22" Snowthrower (made by MTD) and found one flat tire in 2006. Sears replaced the tire under warranty. Then in 2009, both tires gone flat. No warranty but to buy two new wheel assemblies (tire w/rim) at $43 each. The Sears rep told me that they sell several of them weekly and that's why they have (13) of them in stock. The buyer has no idea how much the actual shipping will be when they buy, so the usual seller's excuse of "the shipping was clearly posted" doesn't apply. I orderd seven items from Amiclubwear and when I received the items they were not as advertised. I placed an online order for a Canon SD780-IS (red) for $128 with free shipping. The description page listed availability as "usually ships in 1 to 2 business days". The next day I received an e-mail saying they needed to confirm with me via telephone. I received the trial products and have not been able to test them yet. I have since found that my bank account has been debited for a membership fee which I did not authorise.
