My experience with Cordell & Cordell was not good and I would not recommend them! Ms. Gita Etemadi, eBay seller, sold me a bracelet in late July 2009. Soon thereafter I inquired if I could return it. Ms. Etemadi agreed to accept the return. When she received it in the mail, Ms. Etemadi ignored my subsequent e-mails and eventually said flat out that she was not going to refund my $145. Neither attourney performed at all over a full year, with one exception; a department store credit card w/ a small balance. We are now seeing another attourney, as well as on the verge of bankruptcy. I mortgaged my current home with USAA in 2006 seeing how their customer service is outstanding. Little did I know that they would sell my loan off to US Bank. US Bank was one thing after the other in regards to mishaps. They screwed up my escrow account and applied payment to my loan that wasn't for me. I'd like to review Hotel Carter in New York. I ordered a pair of boots from this company, which charged my credit card even before emailing me that the boots were not in stock. I twice emailed them (waiting through two billing cycles) to complain that the credit hadn't shown up. They reported back that they were "updating" their charge system and would send me a check. I signed a contract with Climate Guard for glass block windows. I decided to cancel and I had 3 days to do so. I signed a cancellation contract and on the contract it stated I should receive a refund within 20 calendar days. I cancelled 11/14/09 and contacted them on 12/4/09. As of last Monday before noon I deposited a check on behalf of my wife. We have a joint account. It was through her company that she works for. When I deposited the check the banker told me it would be a two day business hold. The funds were suppose to be released as of midnight last night. Did not happen.
