1. Placed order on 9/15/09 with VISA credit card. 2. Company was to confirm order via email. 3. On 9/19/09 attempted to contact MedShop for order info. There was no telephone No. to discuss issue. I tried to send an email to discuss the problem, but I was obligated to "LOGIN", but they claimed that they did not have my email address even though it was printed on the confirmation of the order that I downloaded! Thrive Learning Institute, Summit Group
JoLo September 20, 2009
I must be the biggest idiot ever. Most of the people making complaints got off cheap! I am a disabled senior citizen and thanks to Thrive, I have lost nearly all my life savings. After a $13, 000 "investment" I was told I could recoup my money in 3 or 4 months. Then, of course, they started telling me I had to sign up with other companies (etc. Merchant accounts)for various services, cost more money. I am now out nearly $20, 000. I never thought I would fall for a scam, but boy are they good! It has been a year, and my website (on which I spent countless hours) has not even gone to "marketing". What can be done? read full review »

I purchased a computer from Publishers Clearing house. When it arrived I went to set it up and the face was loose off the front of the tower, I set it up and the monitor light went solid yellow. I called to let them know, they said send the moitor back and we'll fix it. My husband decided to just buy me a flat screen so i told them I wouldn't be sending it. Ordered free trial, noticed a monthly billing arrangement. I called and cancelled. They agreed but kept on billing, over $500 of unauthorized charges. I am still trying to get them removed; they told me they cancelled and gave me a cancellation # and then denied this when another charge appeared on my bill. I sent the product back, but charges kept appearing. No on should order this product and we should all get our money refunded. read full review »

King Ranch Supermarket
Andrew Lorenz September 20, 2009
I went over to get groceries today and for the first time i saw a security guard. I walked into the store and he told me to leave my back pack at the front, so i put it at the front and took out my wallet and keys, then he tells me im not aloud to bring those into the store either. So i point out someone else in the store with their bag and ask why he is aloud. He told me exactly this "Hes not white". I was shocked that a security guard hired by the government would be so racist and say who can bring in a bad based on their skin color... read full review »

HP - Hewlett Packard
Cerito September 20, 2009
This computer freezes at least once a day, and thats a good day!! The norm is two or three times a day. My Toshiba laptop has Vista Home Prem too and never misses a beat. I don't believe Windows 7 will fix it. It must be the HP motherboard design that makes this an unstable system. I loose work constantly with this pc. It seems to be particularly bad anytime you try to save a file to the hard drive or thumb drive; it freezes during the save. The only option is to reboot. HP is offering memory upgrades and price specials on the e9180... read full review »

Redi set go cooker
LoveAlaska September 20, 2009
I tried to order the "Redi Set Go" cooker and tried to do it online, to avoid pushy telephone sales, instead I ended up with over $20.00 in items I did not want to order and ended up in a "Recipe Club" that was going to be a pain to reverse!!! Haven't heard back from Customer Service yet. I have a feeling that trying to get them to "fix" this will not be as quick as it was for them to "add" this to my credit card!!! If I'd known that it was going to be this much of a hassle, I would have never ordered this!~!! I am so sick of CROOKED people!!! read full review »

You work hard there, but for little to no money. They steal money from their employees by not providing them with paychecks for 6 months. Soup To Nuts does repairs of any kind on or in your home. Just beware that this company has no licence which is mandated in the county of Suffolk, NY and no insurance for liability to your home or his off the books employees. They do the work anywhere form putting up walls and painting to building decks and rooms, including plumbing and electrical. They do not get permits required by the town so the home may not be up to code.None of the workers or the owner has a business license. Faith Construction
Ordolle September 20, 2009
In 11/05 - 02/08, we had a porch built on our home in NY by a contractor. It was incomplete and shoddily done. We complained to the local County Consumer Affairs and a decision was made to have the contractor repay us the money needed to complete the job & resolve shoddy work. The case was sent to the local County AG Office for collection in June 2008 and we are still awaiting resolution of the matter. The contractor cannot be found and it appears that the law has no teeth. It would be somewhat just to have this contractor exposed nationally for the scamp that he is. read full review »
