I was checking out "free grants" online and entered my visa card for a charge of $1.99 (wasn't sure what I was getting?); I immediately canceled it via email to "One Day Grant". I checked into my condo that I rented on February 20th, 2009. Upon checking in, apparently the previous renters needed a crib and it was still in the unit. I called and asked to have it removed. A young man came to our door selling magazines. He gave us this sad story about being a single father and wanting to better himself for his daughter. I received a call, from an elderly women, claimed she worked with National Online Pages and that I had an invoice there which was from 6 months ago which needed to be paid. I asked her for the company name again, I explained I never signed up for their advertising, they must be mistaken. Concord Supplies ripped me off. I ordered a replacement toner cartridge for a Dell printer and when the package arrived, I opened bag inside to find the toner ink had all leaked out. I called and emailed several times trying to get a refund. Gem Shopping is extremely slow in posting a credit to your charge card for merchandise that is returned. They keep telling me that they have to make sure that the returned item is ok and that since they have gone to broadcasting 24hours 7 days a week, they have really increased their workload, so they are sorry for the delay. I feel like a fool. During tough times it seems that dirt bag companies like this one come out to take advantage of people. I did order the disk, and paid $3.95 for shipping. Never got the disk and then my account was charged $74.95. I tried to call these guys but the 800 number is phony. I called Wells Fargo and disputed the charges. They were very helpful to me and my claim was filed in a short time. I would advise anyone to do the same with their bank. Don't let these guys get away with your money. They promise millage that they can not deliver on. The runs they give you are so close together they have to be run illegal to do them. When you say something about it to them they start screwing with your trips and giving you bad trips you can't make money on.
