About a month ago, I saw an add online that gave me false advice about a colon cleaning product named Colopure and Acaipure. I ordered what was said to be a 1 dollar bottle with 4.95 shipping for each product. I gave my credit card info but the checkout page did not show a total so I figure it was going to be just the 1 dollar for the product and 4.95 for shipping. I have the exact same complaint as the person on1/16. I ordered a book for my daughter's college class on 1/15 and I am still waiting to get a tracking number at the very least. I also get the same automated email response about checking back in a couple of days as they update every few days. It should never take this long to get a tracking number from a company. I purchased a Insignia ns-ltdvd26 26" LCD/dvd combo TV and it stopped working after 12 months and 5 days. I found the ad in the little nickle for Invesco Lending for no credit check loans. We are strapped for cash and it seemed like a good idea. The company then called and said that we will need to wire them $898 and when they receive the funds they will direct deposit the money into our account. This bank operates online as UFB Direct and offers high interst savings accounts. I opened my account with a $500 deposit at a 4.00% APY. After two months the interst rate dropped to 2.02% APY. I decided to close my account, but was never told of a $30 "Closing Fee". So after 3 months I earned $2.99 in interest, but was charged a $30 fee to close my account, for a net loss to me of $27.01. I received my credit card bill today and Easy Saver and Money Edge had taken funds from me, that are now charged on my credit card. Chase Card Services has started charging me a monthly service charge for paying my credit card bill on-time! I have a balance on my credit card that is set a fixed interest rate of 4.99%. This month, my minimum payment amount was raised from 2% to 5% of my remaining balance and I'm being charged a monthly $10 service charge fee. I have the same complaint as many others. I was with them when they were Bell Telephone. When absorbed by ATT, they changed their cancellation policy. Despite telling their phone solicitor that I would NOT be renewing my policy, I ccontinue to receive bills. When I call to cancel my policy, they say I have to send an ($8) certified letter stating as much. WHAT F-------NERVE! Like others, I will be cheering when I see ATT go up down. I am a professional w family insured by an Aetna PPO. I have a particularly agregious example of what has become the norm in the insurance industry and that is claim denial by default. Recently Aetna denied coverage of my 6 year old daughter's annual well-care visit. The reason? Apparently we had only allowed 359 days between appointments and they look for "12 consecutive months" to have elapsed. Same experience as previous complaints. I opted to receive free magaines, paying only shipping for a years subscription.
