just spent 3 and a half hours on the phone with directv and skylink. No one showed for our scheduled appt to get new receivers and a dish. I was transferred to India and back, repeating my story several times. Got hung up on 4 times. (put on hold twice, no-one ever came back.). I will cancel my service. The room place delivery men damaged the top part of my backway hall wall while delivering mattress set. The store refused to repair damage or pay for damage. I was looking for former classmates and found AlumniClass.com. They don't allow you to see anything before paying a one time fee of $10. I paid the $10 and there were only 3 people from my class on the site. THREE. I tried to get a refund, but according to their "terms of use" they absolve themselves from everything and do not make refunds. This place is a scam. They responded to my complaint in a timely manner (via email), but they hide behind their "terms of use" to justify not doing what is right. Salesman took our $1000 deposit on 7/11/08. Chk was cashed 7/22. Work was supposed to be done on 8/4. Roofing supplies were delivered on 8/1. Dumpster was delivered on 8/4. Hccua is a total rip-off. I feel that the policy was misrepresented from the beginning. I have made several calls about the failure to pay certain claims and they always have some excuse. One example was over a flu shot that was not paid for. Preventative claims were suppose to be paid. The lady told me that it was the doctors fault because it was not submitted to the company as a preventative claim. Why did they think I took a flu shot---trying to get the FLU I guess. Company used an address in Bismarck, ND. 612 East Boulevard Ave Suite 705, 58505. They are using various company names such as: Shoppers Impressions Inc, Shopper Jobs Inc, Shopping Disbursements, etc. They send you a bogus cashiers check and require some shopping and wiring of money to satisfy their clients. They have you wire the money to Canada and then the cashiers check bounces. Operation seems to be unchallenged by authorities or investigators up to this point. I have been billed by ATT for 9.99 on behalf of ILD services who is collecting for US Credit Find. I have had no contact with either of the latter two companies and I have not authorized either to sell me anything or to bill me on behalf of anyone with whom I do business. It is impossible to find out about this or to stop it by calling AT&T. ILD services claims they will issue a refund, but they have no right to make the charge in the first place and there is no reason to believe they will cancel the charge. We received these Gas Up America coupons as a "perk" for attending a time share presentation in Williamsburg, Va back this summer. We went to the shop located in the Pentagon City mall in VA in August and purchased some dress. We are very sure that we never opted to purchase any magazine. In the last two months, we got couple of PARENTING magazine and assumed that it was free sample. We are sure because never we gave the credit card info. I signed up with FCCC over a year ago and never had problems until recently. They debited money from my account and never distributed that money to the creditors accordingly. I called a few times to find out what was going on and the reps said that it was being taken care of. I called again a week ago to find out that FCCC had been taken over by a new company called ADC.
