A recent commercial shows the M & M characters emerging from a freezer. One says that his "M" has shrunk. The other asked didn't he know about 'shrinkage'... a reference from an adult comedy show "Seinfeld" which reference a part of the male anatomy. This crude attempt at humor is not only dated but inappropriate for children who see these cartoon characters as toys. In fact, the company markets them as stuffed toys, candy dispensers, etc. The marketing dept. needs to understand that you can't have it both ways. read full review »

Culligan charged me for service on a house I no longer own for service I discontinued two months ago. Culligan stated that I signed a 6-month contract, however there are two checked boxes. One states that service is provided month to month and one month notice is required for change of service. The other box does state the term as 6 months, so I suppose I legally have no recourse. Within the past several years, one of my sisters has a few times ordered and paid for several gift subscriptions to magazines from this company (which until recently went by the name "MagSelect.com") for many family members at Christmastime. We each receive a yellow card in the mail wishing us "Season's Greetings" and advising that a gift subscription to a specific magazine will be sent to us within 6 to 12 weeks. On April 30 2008, I purchased a Trion Air Bear air cleaner from Climate Doctors on ebay. Ten were listed; I bought one. It was paid for immediately by Paypal. I was a Telatron employee for two years from Feb 2001 until Dec 2003. I was miserable for those two years working there. That place is EVIL! It is a cesspool. The HR staff, especially Diana Post are condescending and treat you like sh**. We have had a lot of negative experiences with Pulte's home construction. It seems they have undersized the ducts on our home and not provided appropriate dampers to adjust the airflow appropriately (it would cost about $8000 to repair that, but we have chosen not to do that). The air conditioner failed after only 6 years to the tune of about $6300. The main sink faucet valve broke as well. This turned out to be your typical "Bait and Switch" program. It seems that even when one participates in the "Product Test Program" and receives an incentive gift, or in my case a $50 gift card, that there is still no remedy. Once activated, I tried using the card for an online purchase and was rejected by the financial institution that the card was suppose to be purchased from. On April 12, 2008 at approximately 9:00 am, a RTG delivery driver parked a fully loaded 15-20 Ton truck on my concrete driveway to unload furniture. I made the mistake of hiring Father and Son Movers out of Jacksonville, Florida to move me from Orange Park (outside of Jax) to Tallahassee, Florida. I was given a time window that the movers were to come to pack up my belongings, which they missed. I had to call the office to find out where my movers were and what time they were coming. I bought a new office suite from the Mathis Brothers Store in Indio, on June 9th, 2008. They had 5 of the 7 pieces in stock, and promised the two remaining pieces by the end of the month. I purchased a GE Washer and Dryer on July 15, 2007. In December 2007 the dryer through the main breaker in my home because it got so hot. The shell of the dryer would burn you almost immediately to the touch. It took a repairman 2 months to the day to get back with me about changing all 3 theromstats in the dryer. Since then it does dry however, the shell does not get hot unless you open the dryer between cycles to check on the clothes and if you do it gets hot again. I've filed complaints with the BBB, Attorney General of Tex and the National Transportation. They hold your items hostage until you pay the EXTRA fees they charge you (my case it cost me $3500 more than the quote!) They delivered my items 2-1/2 weeks later than said. I arrived from KLM Airlines on June 30 to Dallas, TX. I got a receipt for delayed luggage on June 30, since last 7 days I have been calling them and no one returns calls, I called their number 800-745-9798 and all they say is they have sent a message. An order for a bedroom set was placed on June 13th and the receipt said an expected delivery date of July 15th. However, after repeated efforts to contact the store via telephone, I was told today that the order wouldnt be delivered until the end of October. The representative also mentioned that when they write 4 weeks on the receipt it normally takes 8-12 weeks.
