This company is a total rip-off. Yes, something has to be done, to keep other parents from being deceived. They pretend to be a legitimate company but they are far from being a true casting company. A dispute claim has been filed with my bank, Washington Mutua, l for the above company for deducting 19.95 without my knowledge and authorization. There seems to be a pattern with this company after reading other complaints. I have worked with this company when it was under Unicorn with no problem. My account was paid on time and I paid more than what was required at the time. I have been trying to cancel my Golds Gym membership for the past two months and have been unable to. They asked me to send a written request to cancel my membership using certified USPS mail. We purchased the unit as christmas gift for out son, by February it did not work, we sent it back & they replaced the unit, which also does not work. The service at this company totally stinks. The people that you try to talk with cannot speak good English and they have standard answers. My internet download speed sucks 8 hours out of 24. Of the remaining 16 hours, we sleep approximately 8 so that only give us about 8 hours of what is suppose to be quality service. Every day at 4:00 PM the speed drops from the low to mid 700kbps to the mid to low 80 kbps. It stays this low until new day starts at 12:00 AM. I have called at least 30 times and no help. I bought a 26" LCD Tv on black Friday of 2007. I followed the instructions and sent in for the rebate. I received a letter back stating that I did not mail in a copy of the invoice. I recently bought (about 6 mos.ago) a Mr. Coffee 12 cup programmable coffee maker, I went to make my coffee this morning and no coffee! It stopped perking and the heating element went out on it. I just recently read that the mr. coffee plant laid off 390 workers and moved their plant to mexico. This shipping company (EGL - which is now a part of CEVA) lost my plasma television (ordered through Amazon.com), and then lost a second replacement television sent by Amazon. In both cases, they never bothered to call me and tell me they lost the TV, causing me to have to make arrangements for someone to be at my home during the 6-hour delivery window -- for no reason. Their customer service has been terrible throughout. I constantly get inconsistent explanations and false promises about other delivery dates. I have made many purchases at The Plant Shed in Mansfield Texas over the years. The first time that a shrub I purchased didn't make it, I carried the dead plant to the store for a refund or credit. I had lost the original receipt but made a copy of my AMEX statement showing two purchases within the last three months. I was told that "Our policy is that we must have the receipt number"...Sorry Charlie. I went to see a specialist. After checking Aetna's website to make sure the doc was in network, I called Aetna to make sure as well. The doc even called and transcribed the call because of problems with Aetna in the past. The claim came. They charged the doc as out of network. After I called, the customer service rep just did not care. It was not her problem. My doc had to go through and get Aetna to pay, but the *** paid about 28 dollars. I had a one day rental from Sixt that I picked up at the Frankfurt main train station at 9:30. It was a 1-day flat rate, all mileage included for a total of 39euro. This is to complaint about the GIFT TICKET FEE of $18.00 charged to my purchase for using my credit card to purchase a bus ticket for my wife. I believe this is a rip off.
