My biggest mistake was sending them a check instead of using a credit card. At least with a credit card you can dispute the charges. I received an automatic phone call reminding me about an extended automobile warranty. I never bought a warranty nor did I recently purchase a vehicle. I waited for the customer service representative and she new my name. She said she had all the information before her. I ask her what car they were calling about. We arrived on Saturday afternoon at Orlando Airport and had a reservation for a compact car from Alamo Rental Car. The price of the rental was $108.00, I also prepaid for a full tank of gas which for the compact car was $30.00. We were staying at one of the Disney resorts so would not be driving more than about a 100 miles in total, but the $30.00 was worth it to not have to stop and fill up on the way back to the airport. This apartment complex scams when upon move in... they advise you just have to pay the non-refundable deposit... but when you move out... you are slammed with hundreds of charges. They make you pay for painting... every month you are living there, you are charged $13.89... which is never told upon move-in. I have bought the Sears Kenmore HE3 Elite Electric Dryer 5 years ago. Door handle keeps breaking off and I keep replacing it. Sometime it breaks within days. It is a faulty design. FIA card services added what they called a credit protection plan to my closed account that took a 3k bal to 7 k since 2002 with no purchases. This company is a scam! Nokia 5300. Bought Aug 2007. Dec 2007 - screen has somehow broken from within. There are no visible cracks in the glass, however there is a sort of dark electronic EKG-like smearing against a white background, that is unchanged in shape and size. The display has the look of modern art. No icons or photos are visible which makes the whole thing pretty useless. Phone was in pocket; good one minute and not so fine the next.
