I recently was contacted a marketing person from Midwest Resorts. I was informed by attending a 90 minute presentation I would receive a $25 gift card and four round trip tickets to any of 26 destinations. We pre-booked our room over the phone based on impressions we obtained from their web site. The site notes a private beach, a pool in a lush tropical garden, special ambience, signature service, describing the Inn as the "Jewel of the Pacific". I had made reservations of the hotel using this above mentioned travel agency through internet. I was told many good thing about the booked hotel but I found nothing but dissatisfaction as it was not the way it was told. My husband and I stayed at the hotel, that we booked online because it was one of the only hotels available and the picture showed clean rooms and the services provided and the price per night were agreeable to us, also it was within walking distance to the boardwalk and hotel were other family members were staying. I would like to share my cent experience with the Suffolk Hall Hotel with others. I recently booked a room for 2 nights at the hotel over the telephone. I was not given any terms and conditions of the booking or told that I would be charged the full amount immediately. 10 days later I canceled my booking. I am totally disabled and require a service dog. I always carry a letter with me from my Doctor that certifies my dog is a service animal. I am a administrative support person for a large hotel. I received a suspicious-looking invoice from this company. Upon presenting it to the controller and director of sales, both said we had never purchased advertising space in anything by that name. I ordered and authorized a charge for shipping for free samples of Life Cleanse and Acai Berry Detox from an advertisement on the Web. I received my credit card bill to find I had been charged $39.95 for each of the two items plus a charge of $87.13 for Detoxidant. I went to cuts &creations hair salon in Loughrea, co Galway to get hi lights and low lights done. The owner Elaine suggested full head colour and half head hi lights. I agreed, one of the girls Paula did my colour and then hi lights, and when she finished she put the heat machine on and over my head and left. About few months ago I started receiving massive number of SPAM emails daily. I use to receive 10 to 20 emails daily. I reported them to the General Attorney in Florida. I also reported to them and many other agencies. I also contacted their office many times to remove my email from their SPAM avidities. I am a regular member of Bally's Total Fitness Club facilities regularly for morning workout. Almost every morning, I find this facility unsatisfactory. Men's shower room area is always dirty and full of odor. Swimming pool water is murky and dirty. Water temperature in Jacuzzi sometimes run over 110 degree. Swimming pool area is not well lit. I've been a customer of MCI WorldCom since last summer. My wife has been using their services for almost 2 years. Since last year they don't seem to be able to implement the automatic payment option anymore.
