Terry Bierd General Sales Manager and Alex Saayd general Manager and owner Bob Rorhman (Billionairre) have a hiring scam the last 2 years where they have USC train you for $629.00 and then they fire you 2 to 4 weeks later, the fact is they hiore 20 to 30 reps every other month and have a pattern of this practice and poor people looking for work are ripped off of there hard earned money $629.00 and trained by a joint that guarantees you nothing but ripping you off, I filed with Illinois attorney general, FTC for trickery in advertsising to get my money back. I write to you in utter disgust for the service I have received from Gateway Toyota Gateway, as you can view from the attached letter to the manager whom has not replied to my mail & has denied receiving the email. My husband & I were on holiday in Johannesburg and Cape Town since the beginning of December and had to deal with the additional cost of a battery replacement on the 2006 Toyota Hilux we had purchased in May 2010. The service department says they are just too busy to help. "Go away, make an appointment and come back again later" is their line. Unsatisfactory on so many levels. I witnessed, through the window, an office with a seemingly adequate number of staff bustling around inside. (It took them 10 minutes to notice I was waiting) Come on, people! Are you really that busy or just LAZY? If Nissan corporate HQ was aware of what was going on at this dealership, heads would roll!!! My Honda Accord which just over 1 year was stalled along jln 222. To my relief because Honda Service Centre just rite in front of me . Its about 6.30pm which the garage door was closed but people still inside there preparing to leave. I tried to ask for their help but was turn down, I was told no mechanic available. On 11/23/10 my wife had new tires put on our Toyota Seq. by a local tire store(Manning, SC) and the mechanic suggested getting wheel alignment. I called TOYOTA (SWT) service dept a talked with Sam T.(SUPER guy) asked about wheel alignment and he said that they could do it. I met my wife and kids at the dealership (Scott Will Toyota) to have wheel alignment done around 4'oclock. Sam T. greeted us and took the keys. Hi I was charged for a full tank of gas (on a re-fill when returning the motor vehicle in Nice, France - National Car Rentals). We were unable to fill the tank up as the petrol station broke down - however we were able to full the tank 95% full. This was pointed out to the car rental and they said this was fine and would be no problem. We were charged Euro 45. The claim amount was approximately $1800 for damage to the Left Rear of my 2002 Cadillac Escalade. My car was in excellent condition with low mileage. I am the original owner of a 2006 Mercedes E 350 which has been serviced on time by Mercedes dealers exclusively. December 2010 at 80, 000 miles the transmission failed and the repair was $6, 550.00. No explanation was given for the failure and to add insult to injury when I asked for the failed parts the answer was that these were available at an additional $1, 000.00 charge only. Avis offers to fill your tank with gas at approximately the going rate $3.20 (in sf) when you return their rentals. Sounds like a convenience, but beware! The contract states that you will be charged for a FULL tank of gas regardless of how much is in the tank when you return it! in my case with a chevy impala the cost was over $60, even though i returned it with more than 1/2 tank of gas in the car. Heavy taxes are also applied to the gas fee. Forego this one and fill up at a nearby gas station before returning the car. read full review »

I purchased a vehicle from this dealer on 12/4/2010 and he assured the vehicle was in good condition. The day after purchasing vehicle I began to have several problems with the vehicle from the brakes squeaking real bad to loud popping noises in the wheels. When my mother bought her car in 2007 - she was refused live insurance. My dad was put in a home in 2010. We went to the local ford dealer for help to reduce payment amounts or buy back the car - to no avail. My mother passed away on Jan 02, 2011. Again I went to the ford dealer for help - to no avail. I have driven and owned a ford for 30 years and just bought a 2010 F150 in October. The ford service is great, but they wont get my money or business anymore either because of the incosiderate behavior portrayed by the dealership. I've been reading on this website about the problem with Scion tC trunk handle panels breaking off, after mine did the day after Christmas while visiting friends in my hometown. It was a cold evening, and when I pressed on the handle latch the whole panel came off and was hanging from the back. It was too cold for me to tinker with it in the parking lot of a pub late in the evening, and I've since duct-taped the thing to the back of my car. I had two payments left on my previous Subaru contract, so, I leased a new car from Maple Shade Mazda in Maple Shade, NJ and was told my previous car lease would be paid off as part of the sales negotiation. Well, it wasnt and now I have two separate car payments this month. bought in may a reman transmission for my 02 sebring and right off the bat had a big leak in the pan cause all the bolts were stripped. I had them repaired, transmission planet said they would reimburse and I never heard from them until my credit card disputed with them then the money show'd up. it turns out they changed hands after I bought the transmission. Recently I had another leak from selnoid gasket and again I tried to contact them to find out they are out of business with no further contact info on the warrenty. it's a little late now but if you find them under another business name don't do business with them. read full review »

His customer service is horrible. We cannot get ahold of him to pick up the bike and he never called us to let us know that the repairs were finished with a final bill. In fact, it has been over 8 months trying to get in contact with him and we STILL have not received a call back!! I took my truck in for a routine oil change at Canadian Tire as I have for the past 10 + years. The oil I use in my truck is from off the self and not an option in their computer (GTX 5 20). I did accidentally grab the wrong weight of oil, in fact I grabbed the 20 50; I brought it to the counter and waited for the sale/service staff to acknowledge me; I might add that he was a new hire, 3 weeks. My vehicle has been to Action Ford Constantia over 10 times for the same problem. My little 1.3 bantam has never been right since day one. I have an idling problem that apparently cannot be fixed!!! They have accommodated me with a courtesy vehicle when my car has been with them, and I really believe that they have tried to come to the party, but I think there workshop lacks the skills to fix the problem. Action Fords solution to the problem is for me to buy a new vehicle, which will cost me thousands of Rands. I cannot afford a new vehicle, and they have given up on the problem. I Paid R1000 to keep the car on pending whilst waited for finance to approve, however it got declined the first time due to misunderstanding, BUT THEY were quick to refund my R1000 via internet transfer...AFTER the confusion was sorted and my finance got approved...they had to pay back the R1000 again...HOWEVER!!! via a CHEQUE which takes 5-7working days...and the same went for the money they owed me for buying my car...
