Purco Fleet Services
Carlos February 5, 2009
Aproximately two months ago my rental car was damaged when another car backed into it in a walmart parking lot in columbus, Indiana. There were no injuries, and my car sustained only minor cosmetic damages. The Lady who backed into my car gave her insurance details to the national car rental agency and on the advice of the customer service agents, we did not call the police. Today, I was contacted by a claims representative with Purco Fleet Services who informed me that the insurance company for the lady who backed into my car ha... read full review »

Eastside Chrylser Jeep
Jumior February 5, 2009
Bait and switch tactics. The 2006 Jeep Wrangler Sport I purchased did not come with all the features I requested. Also the vehicle was supposedly imported from Portland, Ore. Turns out to be from Auburn, WA with many miles on it. Also applied for a lower interest rate loan with a credit union. Dealership forged my signature for a higher interest rate loan. Contacted State Attorney Generals Office, BBB and corporation. Received useless responses from all three stating nothing can be done. Horrible experience with this dealership in this state. read full review »

REDLINE TORQUE CONVERTERS, AKA PHEONIX HARD PARTS
Justin February 5, 2009
I found Redline Torque Converters on ebay while I was looking for replacement parts for my mazda 626 infomous CD4E transmission. I ordered a torque converter and paid through pay pal. Weeks later I still had not received it. I called them and talked to someone who looked into my order and said that it had not shipped because they were waiting for additional information. Specific vehicle info and a $40 core deposit. I payed for the core deposit over the phone on a credit card and I got my converter a week later. I sent them my old converter but... read full review »

Now in feb 09 I GOT A LETTER AND INVOICE. They have taken a further £135. for an apparent surcharge. Which was NOT mentioned when ordering. When I phoned the company I was told this is the norm. they wait 15days then attack. This is 7 months. and they have taking a payment without my authority and with no reason. Findlay Toyota Henderson, NV
Carleton Rastus February 4, 2009
Beware Findlay Toyota in Las Vegas attempting to make up for poor auto sales by not honouring extended warranties!! I have NEVER had a positive experience with this dealership. The most recent - a Toyota Avalon with 36, 000 miles blowing black smoke. They have had it for 8 days, are avoiding phone calls, other than one to say we had to provide them with all oil change receipts, and another to let us know that Toyota corporate HQ had not yet given them permission to open it up... suggested we came and get it and bring it back on the one day a month a field rep is there. What gall! read full review »

American Honda Motor
Ludvig February 4, 2009
Three weeks ago I noticed a puddle of blue fluid on my garage floor under my 2007 Honda CRV and determined it to be windsheild washer fluid. The reservoir is located behind the front fender and I could see it. Since I had a $400 dollar 45000 mile service one week prior I called the dealer (Ray Price Honda, east Stroudsburg, Pa) that performed the service and every service since I purchased the auto from them. I also purchased the Honda Care warranty. They instructed me to bring the car in and upon doing so, they told me that the reservoir... read full review »

Auto One Warranty Specialist
7months and still waiting February 3, 2009
We purchased an extended warranty with this company in July 2008, thinking it would help us with managing our financial situation with a new baby coming. When we received the policy, there were some things we did not agree on, and immediately opted to cancel. We wrote them and received a letter in August 2008 that our refund of $395 will be processed and be returned in our account within the next 10 weeks. It is now February 2009, I am almost having the baby and still no refund from Auto One. We have spoken to numerous times to customer... read full review »

Ford Ranger 2005
G Murphy February 3, 2009
The engine seized in my 2005 Ranger with 14, 354 original miles on it. The Ford dealer that inspected it found water in the oil. Further inspection showed that one of the exhaust valves actually broke off, fell into the cylinder, then slammed upwards and cracked the water jacket (and bent the spark plug as well). The warranty on this truck was 3 year/36, 000 mi. when I bought it new off the lot as part of Ford's "Family Plan Promotion" in 2005. Three years expired at the end of August 2008. However, let me point out again that... read full review »

They advertise 250++ at their "newest location" which is the "#1 volume dealer in the USA". You get there and it's a tiny lot with maybe 50 cars tops. I asked where the others were and was told that they are at another location. I asked when I could see them and was given the "come inside and I'll get the info for you." The inside of this place was tiny, dirty and filled with more salespeople than they had cars, just sitting around doing nothing. Car Parts Wholesale.com
Thomas February 3, 2009
After reading all the negative reviews I was very skeptical, but the very attractive prices on the auto parts that I was interested in made me decide to go for it. So I had my order ready to send online but had a question to ask them about one of the parts in the order. After a 2 minute wait (not bad) on the phone, a very kind and knowledgeable person answered all my questions and informed me that I could save another FIFTY DOLLARS by ordering on the phone with her (no problem there). Parts were shipped the same day via FedEx ground. The auto body parts arrived in professional packaging and were as advertised (cool). I give carpartswholesale 5 stars. read full review »

IF YOU HAVE ANY SENSE, DON'T SHOP AT LD AUTOMOTIVE OR EQUITY AUTOMOTIVE! They are one dealership at two locations, and their "defraud the customer" motto applies at both addresses. I told them that I didn't want to play the game, but it took them five hours to finish the paperwork- including repeated trips by the salesman to see the manager behind the closed doors. The sales manager initially told me the price on the Durango I was looking at was two thousand more than the price I had seen on a sale tag in the vehicle the day... read full review »

The instructor is very unprofessional, direspectful and verbaly abuses the students he drives with. Was once even reported for sexual harassment several years ago. The instructor was still able to keep his job because he is the owner of the buisness. He mistreats his students and "bullys" them because he feels nothing will happen since he is the owner...someone must finally stop him...many say they have reported him but no actions have been done about his unproffesional ways. read full review »

DDC February 2, 2009
In 2004, I purchased a 2004 Nissan Quest and an extended warranty for 5yr/60k miles for $1100 from Star Nissan in Niles, IL. At the time I purchased the car, the factory warranty was 3yr/36k miles. In 2007 I moved to Texas. In December 2008, I took my car in for service at a Nissan dealership in TX and learned that Nissan had extended the factory warrranty on the 2004 Quest to 5yr/60k miles in 2004 because it had so many problems. I purchased an SUV from them in November of 2008. I noticed the first week of driving the truck, that there was a terrible grinding noise whenever I turned the wheel. I took it in for repair, since it was still within the 60 day dealer warranty. They basically said they didn't really know what was wrong with it and just put some "additive in it". I've purchased a single tire from America's Tire due to a tire blow out. The brand of this tire is Mohave, which had a 35k mile warranty. At 12k miles, the side wall of the tire had a concave indentation. As a result, I drove over to the place where I've purchased the tire for a replacement. The sales rep went and took a look of my defective tire. He stated that the tire I've purchased had a 'belt overlap' and that the tire I've purchased was a bottom line tire. On Saturday Jan 31, we were looking at a used 2007 Mercedes E350 at Castle used cars in Silver Spring Maryland. The sales manager on duty Andre Turner gave us a signed offer sheet with a price of $25000 and a $1500 trade-in allowance, for a net price of $23500. It was getting late, so we asked if we could come the next day. Andre promised the offer would still be valid. Be very cautious when dealing with these guys. They offer a guarantee to sell you car within a 90 day period and charge $200 to place an add on their website. That is all very well, but as soon as they have taken your money they disappear and don't respond to email or phone. I placed an ad with them and gave them my credit card details over the phone. The owners Dino Maurati has been less than honest with me and his side kick Robert Tiberi (shop manager?) between the 2 of them lied to me more than a dozen times and can you imagine why a auto body shop would not have a credit card machine when repair can run into thousands of dollars and who carries that type of money on themselves?
