I continually was disappointed with the lack of good customer service and poor quality of work on my car. I found myself returning to this shop multiple times because the "problem" was not fixed properly. I felt I was not treated with respect as a paying customer. The customer service representative often became argumentative and downright rude at times when discussing issues concerning my car. Maaco is the worst place I have ever been to. The people there were unprofessional. They took forever on a job that they didn’t even finish!! The work that needed repair that they didn’t finish only took one day to fix at the other shop, and the quality is far and beyond better. I bought a used 2003 Honda civic as is, no warranty. Ok, that's out of the way. I signed the paperwork on a Wed or Thur evening, to return the following day to give them the payment. Within 9 hours the check engine light had come on, before I could even make it there to pay them. They had their service tech check the light. Atlantic Auto Mall rips people off especially seniors. I bought a new car there and they sold me gap insurance which comes free in New York State with the auto loan. The Atlantic finance dept told me that it would cost me $9.00 per mo for the life of the loan or 60 months (540.00). I pumped $40.00 worth of gasoline into my 13 gallon gas tank. The next day I began experiencing intermittent losses of power (the ones on the highway were really scary, my car suddenly slowing down with no brake lights) wouldn't start until I pumped the gas and cranked the starter at least 5 times and the check engine light on continually along with the temperature gauge flip flopping from hot to warm. Here is another case engaged in business misconduct, misleading information, and fallen into a trap by ALL TUNE AND LUBE. We were convinced that we will have 100% of their guidance and support to run the business. They made us signed took our money, and basically they told us good luck. June 13, 2008 They damaged my car today. We looked at video and walked the wash bay. I found a piece of equipment that lined up with the damage. They refused to take responsibilty. In August 2007 I purchased a used 2004 F150 4x4 Ford truck from Lum's Ford. Manufacturer's waranty had just lapsed but the truck was covered by the dealer quality service waranty. I recently had a problem with someone stealing my bank card info and using it at two gas stations in a state that I don't even live in. Frustrated, after I contacted my bank I wanted an explaination from the company as to why this happened. All I wanted as contact information so I could speak with the manager at that location. We bought a complete set of Sumitomo tires for our car on 02-09-08 through the Sears automotive dept. in Enid, Oklahoma. We had the tires mounted, balanced, & the car aligned on that day. My daughter was buying a Corolla for $21000 and was told that she was approved for $0 down 2.9% for 60 months. She has a credit rating in the mid 700's with a 2% debt ratio. "$500 in free gas" induced me to purchase new Kia Rio. However, later learned to collect would need to use $125/month in gas. Impossible driving a Kia on a small Island. SecureGasRedemption's website mentions "alternate gifts" for those unable to buy this month gas month. I have been receiving calls to extend my automotive factory warranty for about three months. The recording says to press 1 to speek to a rep., 2 to be removed from the "list", and if you keep listening, 9 to removed from the "follow up" list. Well I have not yet been removed, so I hit 1, as soon as this guy answered and I stated I wanted to be removed, he disconnected the call. Cresent bank employees are very rude and unprofessional. They call and talk to you as if your nobody, quick to threaten you with repo... And keep an eye on your credit report they will report you late when your not. They put a hold on my acct so I could not pay my bill so they can repo it. I purchased a mini van while trying to reestablish my credit. We were so excited to get approved for the purchase.(At a whopping 24.9% interest rate) I received the call from UACC regarding the purchase and he told me that there was no grace period.
