Savannah Tire
July 28, 2008
I took my car into Savannah tire to get my brakes done. Because I am a woman, the salesman immediately saw dollar signs. I ended up paying over $700 to replace my front and rear brakes and new front rotors. I don't mind paying for quality work but this wasn't the case. Soon after the job was done my brakes began to squeal and make unusual sounds. I brought my car back to be looked at but all they did was shave down my brand new rotors. The strange sounds continued and I took my car back two more times, they shaved down my rotors some... read full review »

July 27, 2008
I filed a complaint with the BBB. This company uses a "bait and switch" selling tactic in which they tell the consumer to call to confirm after placing an online order. When I called to confirm, I was told that I needed an upgrade in order for my product to work well. I declined the upgrade and received another call from the company a day later. The new caller again tried to find out why I didn't want the upgrade and when I said that I simply didn't want it, he rudely told me that it was fine but that my order would be... read full review »

Beverly Tire
July 26, 2008
Lison Malette brought a 94 plymouth acclaim in Beverly Tire to get the a/c fixed . A oil change was 28.95 before taxes, and Labour a/c evaluation was 59.95 before taxes. That was no problem. After the evaluation Scott told lison it would cost him 699.00 before taxes to fix the problem. Lison went and got another estimate at Hamilton Radiator. Hamilton Radiator put freon in the a/c . The total was 177.36 with taxes in. I don, t like the way Scott tried to scam me. I don, t think this is the way Beverly Tire Head Office works. I am now hesitant... read full review »

Get Car Loans
July 25, 2008
I have been hearing about Motor Finance Wizards. I have had a similar experience with Get Car Loans http://www.getcarloans.com.au/index.htm They have sold me a car, a lemon, with no interest but it was over valued by 100%. On applying for comprehensive insurance I was told that the car could only be insured for $7000 and I am paying double that. On missing a couple of payments I was posted yet another repossession notice but this time had a collection agent and tow truck arrive on my doorstep. You can not reason with them. Pay right now or we... read full review »

Everytime i go into this Sheetz the workers are so rude. You can be standing there waiting to pay and they just look at me like i supposed to ring myself up. They are always talking about other customers and co-workers. They curse and carry on like they're not in a place of business. There is always people in there hanging out, i guess those people are their friends. When you ask for something behind the counter they act like your bothering them. What is wrong with these people?? Silver Auctions
July 25, 2008
In August, 2007, I purchased a 2000 Porsche Boxster during Reno’s famous Hot August Nights from Silver Auctions of Spokane, Washington. The trouble started as soon as I drove the car home from the auction site, a whopping twelve miles. To make a long story short, over the next two weeks the local Porsche dealer, and another independent shop both evaluated the car and found a host of problems including oil in the cooling system and coolant in the engine oil, swollen hoses from the long-term crossover, and oil leaks. Both estimated... read full review »

Paradise Boat Rentals
July 25, 2008
We rented a ski boat for 3 days with a wakeboard. After 2 attempts on the wakeboard the boot ripped and detached from the ski. Paradise charged us $65 for a replacement boot though we barely used it and did not in any way abuse the wakeboard. We paid over $900 for 3 days to rent the boat and they still stuck us with a $65 charge... Repairing the boot could only have cost $10-$20 at most. They are obviously desperate for $$$. Avoid them or they will nickel and dime you too. There are plenty of other places to rent from in Havasu. read full review »

July 25, 2008
I bought my car on 6/10/08. I drove it home and later that night I went to leave and the car wouldn't start, it sounded like it was trying to turn over and wouldn't. Before I left the dealership they said the car went through a carfax and a 181pt inspection and everything was checked out on the car. I went to pick up my parents the next day to take the car back and it died on me twice on the interstate. We noticed that it was leaking oil and it had an oil trail all the way up the driveway. Autofair Ford Manchester, NH
July 25, 2008
AutoFair Ford in Manchester, NH. actually buys the Customer Satisfaction Survey back from the new car buyer, after Ford Motor Company mails it to the customer five weeks after the sale. Then the sales and business managers fill it out and sign it, as though the customer was actually submitting it. Which allows them to keep their BLUE OVAL certification, as well as to deceive Ford as to their sales performance. God help you, if your $38, 000 vehicle turns out to be a lemon, eight later? Mitsubishi
July 25, 2008
I purchased a 52" TV that apparently had a poor light engine. (At a cost of $105 for the technician to advise me of the problem). I have been in contact with Mitsubishi since May 18, 2008 to come to a fair resolution. The cost of replacement is $805.00. The orginial cost of the TV was $3, 499.00. I felt they could, at the very least, replace the part. I was willing to pick up the labor cost of $300.00. They were not willing to do that. Their "final" offer was 33% or $265.00. I just feel that with the cost of the TV I should not be... read full review »

I found a car online at Done Deal .com and went to Villa Park to look at it. I put money down and drove it home. He gave me a Temp Illinois plate and I found out later that was illegal. He charged me Il tax and that was illegal. He charged for Il license fees and that also was, yes you guessed it, Illegal. I found out all these things after I paid off the car in April of 08. He sent me another Temp Il plate, again Illegal. I called him and he tells me he will send these things to me, but alas nothing ever shows up in the mail. He also did not... read full review »

Dear, I am Hani Al-Mazmumy from Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. I had purchased Camry car from Toyota as a first hand in 20/10/2007. It is Camry-GLX 2008 with frame number: 6T1BE42K78X459108. I follow up the scheduled maintenance. I chose a Toyota car because it is one of the best companies in the world with high technology. Unfortunately, I had crashed two pieces of concrete from the front in 20/07/2008 at 3:00 am. This caused a huge damage to the car and the engine had moved from its place. A-L Financial Corp.
July 25, 2008
This company is THE ULTIMATE FRAUD AND SCAM, so called auto finance corporation. It is really amazing to me that companies like A-L Financial are allowed to stay in business. I purchased a vehicle from a little mom and pop type dealership in Cypress, California, (or at least I thought I purchased it!) I gave the dealership my money down and all of the information that was requested on the faxed approval sheet that A-L sent to the dealer. About a week later I received an angry telephone call from the dealership stating that A-L Financial had... read full review »

I have been taking my car to this gas station for 5 years, rarely in the past I have been forced to get gas from other stations. With that said, after my fill up, my car doesn't seem to want to start and when it does it blows out, WATER all over my garage floor. Beware they sell water damaged/flood cars from auction before checking them out. They sold me a 2 year old low mileage Tundra that has apparently been in water at some point possibly up to the door handles. The smell was unbearable and they have tried everything to get rid of it shy of buying it back. It smelled like someone had actually died in the truck after the hot Texas sun hit it for a few days. This is the worst car dealership with which I have ever done business. After I bought a brand-new car from this terrible dealership, I noticed a "check engine" light on my dashboard after only 3, 000 miles. I bought a F350 Crew Cab Super Duty three years ago from Vancouver Ford. I've had the truck into their service department 13 times and it's still not fixed. The employees are rude and the supervisors avoid me. I know enough about auto mechanics to know that they're not doing the testing they say they are, and haven't done the repairs they say they have. 2003 Ford Escape
July 23, 2008
We own a 2003 Ford Escape with light gold/beige paint that has begun to peel off in large sheets on several areas/panels of the vehicle. There is no obvious cause, and the vehicle has not been subjected to any unusual environmental or chemical hazards. Dealer & Ford Motor say there are no recalls, service bulletins, or other actions to cover this, and that given the age and mileage there is nothing they can do. A quick internet search reveals hundreds of other complaints for the same problem, same model/year, and same color, with similar descriptions of the damage and the response from Ford. This is an obvious flaw that Ford shown own up to. read full review »
