City World
February 6, 2008
On January 22, 2008 I brought a Mazda Pretege5 year 2002 58,000 miles VIN: JM1BJ246921489480 $ 12,000.00 from City World 3305 Boston Road Bronx, New York 10469 (718) 655-7000 First of all I do not know anything about cars. I did all the research; I could to get a good car. However, when I get there they treat my like; I had all day to spend with them. It eventually required eight hours to find me a car. I told them I wanted the Lexus that was for 8 thousand, they told me I could not have it. I told them I wanted a Toyota, they... read full review »

PEOPLE PLEASE DON'T FALL FOR IT~~ DON'T BE USED!!! He's nice and sweet at first until he gets close enough to a person and gives his poor-poor-me speech about how screwed over he's been... and next thing you know he's using everybody else's names and address for a new ebay account. THIS IS INTERNET FRAUD. Michael Tautkus is worse than a con-artist!!! He thinks he's so good at his scamming game but in due time, it will all creep up & bite him in his @$$ and then there will be consequences!! read full review »

Drive Time
February 6, 2008
My advice to anyone considering Drive Time... NEVER, EVER be late... not even one day!!! I had an unfortunate circumstance where I had to go out of state for a funeral-my aunt passed away. Honestly, my finances are tight. My payment was due right before I left. I called and told them I would be a day late, and got a lecture. The day that I was supposed to go in and pay, I found out that my aunt passed away. I stuffed some things into a suitcase, got the neighbor to watch the animals, and off I went on a 14 hour road trip. I used my payment... read full review »

Mercedes-Benz
February 5, 2008
I purchased a new E320 in 2003. I am very disappointed with one aspect of this car. In approximately four and half years, its climate control system has failed five times. I do put about 20k miles per year. But this car has its climate control system failing about every 20K miles. For a fifty eight thousand dollar car, FIVE failures in a common comfort system are unacceptable. I suppose Luxury Car means luxury from these hassles of every day problems. 1. Budget Auto Rental Dubin Ireland
February 4, 2008
At Dublin Airport Budget Office I told nice lady that I was handicapped and could not walk far. She sad pickup was right outside the door. It wasn't. It was several hundred yards away. I got there finally and the Staff laughed when the pointed out the rental car I was to use. It was dented from front to back, scraped all away around. I mean wide gashes. No hug caps. Was an old toyota I believe. One tire was extremely worn. Dangerous. I struggled back to Budget and told them that the car was a danger and I wish to rescind. The lady... read full review »

Citifinancial Auto Loans
February 3, 2008
Here is a copy of a letter that I have sent to their "executive response" email about a problem that I have with Citifinancial Auto and copied to their customer service email: 1. You need to do something with your procedures when someone calls in. To be totally ignored and treated as a liar and a thief is unacceptable. On January 27th a man by the name of Frank from telephone number 1-817-835-3291 called me. He asked me if I was going to make my car payment for January (2008). I told him that I had received a letter in the... read full review »

Europcar Austria
February 3, 2008
Having taken our credit card details, Europcar helped themselves to an extra days rental fee. They sent us an invoice claiming that we had collected the car whilst still flying over Belgium and returned the car more than a day late when we'd been home for nearly a day! Europcar are stonewalling and lying to our Credit Card company who don't seem to be trying too hard for us. Having scoured the internet it seems that kind of practice is widespread within Europcar. It is probably even in their business plan! Do not use Europcar and if you use an intermediary insist that they do not use Europcar. read full review »

Fraudulent sales tactics and refusal to acknowledge the 3 day sales contract laws in effect in the State of Florida. Willful misrepresentation in the sale of a vehicle that had major collision damage to a young family - basic 'chop shop' cut & paste type vehicle repairs with absolutely no admission of repairs, in fact complete denial of any damage whatsoever, to the young adults. Refusal to rectify the sale once confronted with the hidden damages, until AmEx contacted them to advise they had received notification from the... read full review »

Maroone Dodge of Pembroke Pines
February 3, 2008
On Jan 15th my friend John went to Maroone Dodge of Pembroke Pines, looking at trading in his old 2003 white Hyundai Elantra which he had purchased from Car Plaza in Ft. Lauderdale (a second chance credit repair car sales company) The original financier on that car was “Flamingo Financing” a notoriously unethical company that takes advantage of people with poor credit and harasses, lies and rips people off in general. I have been trying to help him refinance or otherwise get away from that company. On Jan 16th, my friend and I were... read full review »

I have had my 2000 malibu for four years now. Since I bought my malibu I have had nothing, but problems with it. Two days after I took it home it was back in the dealership getting the breaks looked at because the ABS light kept coming on. The car went in about 4 more times after that until they found the problem. (Velocity Joint) Then right after this was all fixed I thought I was in the clear of problems. Found a 'too good to be true' bike for sale. An $8,000 bike being sold for $2500. The seller states that he is in Alaska on an oil rig with no phone contact available. He sends an email stating that the bike is currently held with SHIP-AMERICAN, a holding company. You are then told that you will need to send the money via Western Union to London England. Good Year / Belle Tire
January 31, 2008
My daughter bought 4 tires from Belle Tire in November of 2006. 14 month later the front two tires are defective and need replacing -- Belle Tire told her it was her fault because the car needed alignment and tire rotation. They would not stand by their tires and would not work with her on a price adjustment, when I talked to the manager he was not concerned about losing customers or being unreasonable. There are to many tire places to go to. I would never go back to Belle Tire!! read full review »

Jim Bass Ford
January 31, 2008
I recently had a run in with the Sales Staff at Jim Bass Ford in San Angelo, TX. My wife had gone in to test drive a 2001 Mitsubishi Montero Sport and afterwards decided that she wanted to buy it. She spoke with the Salesperson and he told her that the down payment would be $1000 and the monthly payments would be $200. The next day, I went down to the dealership to sign the paperwork and get the car for my wife. The Salesperson informed us that the manager now wanted $1800 down payment and $356 monthly payments. A price was given and after shopping , we decided to purchase the car at the Huntington dealership as their price was the lowest. Plans were made with the salesman for us to return to the dealership on Jan 28 to purchase the car. I only took delivery a few months ago and I have spent considerably more time repairing it than I have using the boat. Why have I had to replace the ball joints in my Ford Explorer 5 times in 5 years? Either Ford Motor is putting inferior parts on their vehicles or the employees at Champion Ford in Edinboro aren't qualified. The last time I had one replaced was 2/12/07.
