I bought a Samsung 24QP (2 Tonne AC) sometime in June'05. AC Worked properly for 2 years. However since July '07, the following problems have surfaced : 1. GoVideo / Soyo Model R6530, what a piece of crap. Manu in 2003, quirky when bought new. Picky about DVD+R media brand, sometimes does not work or do anything. Applied a recent update and it croaked. I have purchased a nokia E 90 communicator from vijay sales goregoan (E), Mumbai . The Communicator developed some software problem after two days.A new piece was given to us with an assurance the it would work fine.Now the replaced piece has developed voice problem.After 2 mins of starting a communication the i start getting disturbance and the voice stops soon after. I've bought a LG 17" monitor on 08-08-2007. But it was run only 10 minutes from its beginning. Then i called the customer care they said that my monitor will be repaired or any technician will attend the call withing 24 hours. But nobody came to my place within 36 hours. Buyer Beware! Office Depot's Lightscribe DVD external drive sold under the Ativa label has no warranty after 14 days. I didn't notice until mine quit working after 3 months. Ativa manufacturing said they couldn't help call Microsoft (sure). Office Depot said,93that's why we sell an extended warranty. Extended there's NO warranty after 14 days. I made the mistake of buying 3 Sony cameras over the past several years. Currently all three cameras no longer function regardless of their original purchase price / model. Sony's customer service's response was send them in and pay for repairs. ($177.00 minimum per unit) To date I have sent each of the camera's in at least one and the most expensive camera 3 times. I have given my nokia 3230 for a repair in the month of august. I was told that it will take couple of days for the update. I bought the Zenith XBR616 DVD plus VCR player/recorder in November 2006. I promptly had to replace it under warranty a month later. In July 2007, the unit only played about half of the DVDs inserted into it. I called Zenith's customer relations and they told me that the parts would be under warranty, but that the labor expired after 90 days. I could mail it in for free, but it would cost me $69 in labor just to start looking at the unit. I decided against that since it only cost about $100 new. Ordered a cell phone from cellhut.com, and by the following day i had 12 e-mails advising that the e-mails did not have enough to identify me. I sent them a second e-mail address and was advised that that was insufficient. I then cancelled my order on july 24th was was the second day after i placed my order on july 23rd. The order was confirmed cancelled on july 24th, but i keep getting e-mails that my order is still opened and that i cannot cancel the transaction. On June 29th 2006, i purchased a PNY 1GB SD card 2 pack from CompUSA in Orem, Utah. There was a $10 mail in rebate offer on either the 1GB SD 2 pack, or a 512MB Compact Flash card, for a possible total of $20 in rebate, if you bought one of each. I only bought the 1GB SD 2 pack. Sent Kodak camera in to them on three separate occasions under factory warranty. Each time, camera was logged in and logged out as "repaired" on the same day of receipt. Each time the problem was not corrected. Each time their repair statement said "adjusted to factory specifications" which is roughly akin to pumping up a tire with a slow leak to 32 pounds and saying it is repaired. I moved to Mexico and that i would stock up on inkjet cartridges before i left. I bot 20 black ink cartridges and 10 color. Although the package clearly states that the inkjet cartridge is compatible with a Epson T007 and T009, they are in fact not. Its made in China and goes under the brand name of ProGrade Imaging Products. Nice looking packing box, but the product is worthless.
