Skullcandy
Cyanide_Charlotte May 9, 2009
Bearly 2 months ago I brought the £32.99 skullcandy headphones out of my EMA because they appealed to me. However, just after 2months they have suddenly snapped in 3 different places! I take very good care of everything I have bought especially expensive things. I am appalled at how faulty they are! They snapped at exactly the same points on each side of the headphones. and the worst thing is that HMV won't do anything about it because i have no receipt! Al I wan't is an exchange! My bank statement clearly says: card... read full review »

SlingPlayer
Harold May 9, 2009
I paid over $100 for the slingbox. Then I had to pay another $30 for the mobile software for my phone. I had problems installing it, it was not as easy as described. When slingbox did an upgrade to their software, it no longer worked on my phone or computer. I called customer service and they wanted $30 before they would even speak to me. They appear to be money grubbers. STAY AWAY FROM ANY SLINGPLAYER PRODUCTS! read full review »

OXPG.COM
lagarto May 9, 2009
OXPG.COM IS A SCAM. They advertise in the game Star Wars Galaxies to kids that are 10-15 years old and they get them to convince their parents to pay $30-$100 in Power Leveling and they sell in game currency. The problem is that the game regulations and license agreements prohibit such actions and thus after you pay OXPG.com and they take over your account for a few days to play you up the level...Star Wars Galaxies (Sony Entertainment) will Ban your account and not allow you to play . after appeal, they reversed the money and level, but... read full review »

O-Magazine
Nagella May 8, 2009
I am receiving an illegal unauthorized subscription of the O-magazine and now receiving an invoice from the Hearst Corporation. There is no number or contact information to ask questions. All they want is a payment. I have gone to the O-magazine and canceled this subscription which I never authorized. The bill of $19.97 is due in July and I am not going to pay it until I have a chance to speak to who authorized this deal. This is fraud at its best. read full review »

I ordered 5000 gold from this company and paid them promptly with PayPal. They claimed delivery within the hour. Five days and a dozen emails later, I received 2000 gold from them and a promise to deliver the rest soon. Its been over one month and over 100 emails, too. They promise everything from delivery any minute to refund in 48 hours. They claimed they were the cheapest, but in fact not because they only made a partial shipment. I've requested that they continue partial shipments until the full 5000 is delivered, but have refused... read full review »

Bear Rock Cafe
Charley May 7, 2009
WORST food and coffee experience EVER! Coffee and soup were dishwater. The mushroom soup had 1 stem piece of a mushroom in murky liquid. Husband's sandwich bread was moldy. We waited 20 minutes for manager to address and either replace or refund our $12.00+ dollars -- he never appeared from the back room. The tables looked to have not been cleaned yet that day. Garbage in trash bins piled high. Where are the health inspectors for these places in Florida? Just as we left, without replacement or reimbursement, we thought perhaps it was our... read full review »

Purchased magazine subscription from student to be delivered from this company. Waited the 14 weeks for deliver. Nothing came. Called customer service. Was on record but had not been delivered. Told to wait 6-8 more weeks. Nothing came. Called again. This time, they had nothing on record and re-submitted entire order. I paid for this in Nov'08. It is now Mar'09. This company does not maintain records as it promises. DO NOT purchase subscriptions from this company - regardless of how bad you want to help out students in their fund raising efforts. It's not worth the hassle and lack of cooperation from customer service. read full review »

Powers Grocery
Edgar May 7, 2009
I hate companies that do this!!! I NEVER agreed to monthly shipments, and I can't find a number to call to cancel these. I returned a shipment about a month ago. That charge has not been credited, and now there is yet another charge and I didn't even receive anything this time!! How do companies get away with this!! Oh and the only phone numbers for them are automated and have choices only for 'tracking your order' or 'placing an order', and you can't get a live person! read full review »

Trend Micro has charged my credit card w/o my approval to do so. As a customer, I have the right to drop service. And should not have another charge tagged to my card just because some company has not updated its program. This is reason I fired them in the first place! Sorry Services! I would like my card credited back...$ 45.31 to be exact. And to top it off, I changed anti-virus companies well over a year ago. The sign by the FM 1960 roadside advertised $2.75 Crawfish, which led me to chose to dine there with my daughter due to the discounted price, yet at the time of the payment, I was charged $3.99 per pound. I addressed the issue with management, and was told by the manager that he would pay me the difference in cash. Springs Values
Schulz May 6, 2009
A simple request to stop delivery of the “Springs Values” weekly to my address has proved unsuccessful. Unfortunately, customer service at The Gazette is non-existent. The Springs Values weekly is a collection of ads and sales by King Soopers, Albertsons, and Safeway grocery stores, which are delivered weekly to subscribers of the Gazette. However, being a retired veteran I shop for groceries at the Ft. Carson commissary, which saves our household over 30 percent in grocery costs. Top Sales/magazines
againstmagcrew May 5, 2009
I am sick of keeping my mouth shut about this situation. I was 17 when I began to work for mag crew. The company was named C&S(Computer and Stuff) at the time. That company was owned by Howard Brock and Dave Fussell. Well right after I began to work there they changed there name to Southern Circulations Inc. (SCI) we were told we just needed a better name but I would later find out it was for the fact of them not sending out the magazines. Well for some reason Tracy Fussell took over Dave Fussells part of the business and started to run it... read full review »

I ordered The Untouchables DVD series from this ripoff outfit. Poor quality is an understatement. Looks like it was taped of the TV... make that a bad TV as the sound was garbled, picture out of focus and too dark to make out anything. Of course, there website provides a customer service e-mail address but after three attempts with no response what's the use? This is a ripoff, two-bit, sorry excuse for a business that should be put out of business. Take it from as well as the many other complaints that have been posted, save your money... read full review »

Nitro pdf
Jeb Howell May 5, 2009
Purchased Nitro pdf about a year ago at Office Depot. Have used it past year no problem. Suddenly, it has "converted" to a trial version. Of course, I didnt save the box from a year ago. Unless I pay them ANOTHER $80, and am able to download a "serial number" (never a requirement of the off the shelf product I bought a year ago), it prints a "Trial Version" yellow box at the bottom of my documents. And, of course, they have NO form of online or call-in product support, you can only fill out an online form and have no way of knowing if it will be received or they will respond. BEWARE of Nitro pdf!!! Dirty business! read full review »

DIRECT TV CABLE PACKAGE
MTC May 5, 2009
I created an account with DIRECT TV, starting on April 17, 2009. MOST of the information given to me when creating the account was false (e.g., internet policy, monthly total charges). I called customer care to discuss the discrepancies on April 25, 2009. I was informed by Rachel in customer care that "I was misinformed" and that, if I cancel my account within 30 days, the cancellation fee of $480 would be waived. My father receives harrassing phone calls and letters from this company on a magazine he has never ordered nor received. My Dad just lost my Mom 2 weeks ago and these people have been retched. He has tried talking to them and tried to tell them he has never ordered this. They are so ugly to him. I called the number and tried talking to them and they were so rude and hung up in me. When I called the number on my bank transaction, 800-854-4082, I was told the transaction would be cancelled. Now I'm told it will take up to 3 business days for the transaction.
