Ken Kirkpatrick Software is Junk! I saw Ken Kirkpatrick Software at a software show in Birmingham. I purchased their name software and I have had nothing but problems I called Mr Kirkpatrick for customer support and he shouted at me telling me that I was wasting his phone bill. On February 2, 2009, I accepted an offer from a company named Magazine Burst, (as part of a promotion to receive a free laptop), to subscribe to 5 magazines for a price of $27. Shortly thereafter, (same day), my credit card was charged a total of $93.95 by a company named Publications Max (publicationsmax.com). When I googled the telephone number (888-624-2877) I discovered that the magazine offer was an internet scam. Our internet connection got slower and slower. We were assured by Qwest that the problem wasn't with them. Our many iterations of AVG said everything was hunky-dory. Finally, on February 4th, 2009, someone checked the router and discovered that we were a clearing house for what looks like half the marijuana transactions on the West coast. They had taken over nine computers and space on twenty hard drives and were basically squeezing us off our own broadband connection. I received a book I never ordered. I emailed Reader's Digest about it and never heard back so I donated the book. I have too many books for my book cases as it is. They sent me to their collection dept. and I am being harassed by them to pay for the book. I ordered Comcast Internet service in May 2008 from Digital Landing, who promised a $125 Amazon gift certificate. I submitted my rebate forms in a precise and timely fashion, and began calling Digital Landing to follow-up in October, and have called numerous times (around 10) since then. The Redding Record Searchlight, even though it is a different county has posted articles 4 times on an assault charge. The articles are one-sided and lies. I haven't been able to find any similar articles for Siskiyou County posted in this newspaper. Siskiyou Daily News has put 9 articles in it's newspapers repeating a one-sided story, of an assault. Five of these articles were on the front page and four had mug shots of the suspects. I did research and found that other similar incidents are not covered at all or barely. Your not getting what you pay for when you order ribs at Outback. Go to any good BBQ place and order a 1/2 or full rack of ribs..and you'll get them. This is not so at Outback Steakhouse Restaurants.
