I paid on my credit card the amount of $500.73 for the outstanding amount due to RCN company for cable/phone and computer services. Payment was made April 4th. When I got my credit card bill the name on the payment was to ACTION COMMUNICATIONS BEACHWOOD OH. I suspect this is the collection agency for RCN. I am still getting dinging letters from CCS Inc. for RCN - what's with this?????? I am not paying again - you need to check into this and make it go away. These people are deceitful and fraudulent (material misrepresentation). They promise you free watches and 7 magazines which you only allegedly pay for postage. When you hang up the phone and do the math the magazines over the 3 year come out to be over $10000.00(US). I recently purchased a copy of Paint Shop Pro X2 on line from riverstreams.co.uk. However when the disc came I had a great deal of trouble installing it into my computer. As a result I contacted Coral for some help. When I gave them the product ID number they informed me that this was an OEM version that was only to be given with a product and that it had no support. The direct debit request for April was 10 times the normal monthly amount. There is no reply to the telephone number supplied by the above company, no reply to e-mails and the additional number on the internet is "no longer in use". I have incurred bank charges and charges for using premium phone lines that go to answer machines. I suspect the company is in liquidation and has been requesting direct debits when not in business. For the last two weeks the air condition is not working in the lobby. I have spoken to three managers so far and all they can say is that the office know's about it. SO DO SOMETHING !!! They said that in the back was cool but no air in the lobby. There was a lady who got too hot and got dizzy and had to leave because of the heat. Ordered a Double Whopper Combo, go large, extra onions and pickles. Was ready to pick up my order and the slaesperson looked at my order and noticed it was a single whopper instead of what I ordered and paid for. When ashe told the cook, it was like oh well thats not what the screen stated, but my receipt stated it was a double. It appears they werent concerned about cheating the customer. I recently ordered the series Crossing Jordan DVD discs for seasons 1-6. What I received was a two small box set of some of the series which they recorded from a Crossing Jordan marathon from A & E. When I contacted them, they blew me off with something like a form letter which addressed none of the problems with set I had received which was an INCOMPLETE set. They are guilty of TV piracy and selling DVDs that are not legal. I have received no satisfaction from this company and urge others to do NO business with them. Beware buying a wow time card from this company. They take your order and say they will call you to confirm. They do not ask you for your telephone number but somehow obtain it from Pay Pal. They never call and when after many hours of waiting you ask for a refund they charge you a fee. The Chilis in my town is the worst and nastiest resturant ever. My friends and I got sick from eatting there. The area is always nasty and the workers that work there are nasty looking. Norm's on Katella in Orange. I ordered the all-you-can-eat Barbecue Ribs. The waitress brought me one plate, with four ribs on it. I avoided the fat and gristle, and I love barbecue, so I intended to get my money's worth (about $9 or $10). After a very long time, she came back to see if we needed anything else, and I asked for more. She came back with two ribs. She never returned to see whether that was all we needed. Tonight we dined at Pate's. My wife had the prime rib and I had the Filet Mignon. The Filet was ordered medium rare and came almost well done and was over charred. I couldn't taste the flavor of the meat for the overpowering taste of the outer burnt meat. I finally had to trim the outer layer of the Filet away on both sides to even finish this cut of meat. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone due to my meal. The prices at this restaurant were also $2.00 -- $3.00 higher than their advertised price in the current Naples phone book. I purchased 2 orders of Fish and Chips. Take Out The fish was so over cooked that it was almost in edible. The batter was so hard that you needed a knife and fork to even attempt to cut it. NRS called my relentless for two months. I finally just got their magazine but when it came time to be billed the price was way more than originally quoted but they refuse to allow me to cancel saying I agreed to be locked into there service for 6 months. The use several "you won" ploys that are all lies, you still have to pay for all of them. We keep receiving repeat phone calls from this company. They keep upping the price attempting to lock us into a 5 year subscription to cheap magazines. The company had our names, addresses, and phone numbers and asked for credit card and date of birth information. When I refused, the agent became belligerent.
