Infinity dish offer free gift to sign up dish network with them such as gas voucher, stereo, camera etc. I selected for gas voucher, the trick is there is a $50.00 processing fee to sign up one of this free gift. They charged my credit card $50.00 on 12/22/08, they told me i need to download the rebate form from their web site and mail it back to them so they can send me $300.00 gas voucher. I was looking for a particular TV series not available anywhere else. I received a magazine called MONEY which I didn't order. I called their customer service and was told that an order had been placed thru valuemax.com. Tried to contact them at 1-800-301-9619 and was told to visit their website. I haven't ordered any magazines online and have a low income. The rep contacted me stating I had won a $1000 internet only shopping spree. Visa and Mastercard were sponsoring this promotion and I would also receive 5 magazines at the rate of $3 per week of which I would only pay for using my Visa or Mastercard along with shipping an handling for my packet. Despite "No Solicitation" signs posted at the entrance of our neighborhood, we had a young lady knocking on the door telling a sob story about how she was in rehab and had lost her children, the company was helping her to return to school. After agreeing to buy two magazines (at $100) she asked us to say something positive about her to show to our other neighbors. Invoices state to contact them after 120 days if nothing has been recieved. Husband tried to call and was told the number was disconnected, but I've called and left messages with no return call. I ordered a DVD series from them for the Carol Burnett Show. It took 13 days to get it and once I did, I was very disappointed. The owner is mexican and is hiring her poor unsuspecting mexican students, working them for the month and then firing them without pay. When you do ask for your pay she says dont bother her or she will call the police. The gaul!!! They called and got me to pay for the renewal of a magazine subscription. They represented themselves as if they were the magazine. This was on 10-March-2009. Today it is a month later and my magazine keeps notifying me that my subscription is about to end. After calling the magazine myself, I learned that they have not received any funds from US Periodicals for the renewal. I have notified my credit card company to dispute the charge. I ordered a set of DVDs from TV DVD Mania (I read in one complaint that they also go by the name TV DVD Store. It seems like complaints exist under BOTH names.
