I asked Whirlpool for replacement part for my range/stove and was informed that it would cost me $484.00 plus $69 for special handling. This is blackmail and highway robbery combined. They gave me a clear message that they do not want to support spare part end of their business and now I have no choice but to buy from a non-American company that honors their obligation properly. And this is not the only such incident with our Whirlpool products. Previously we have had problems with their washers and dryers and received shoddy response from them. New York City Housing Authority has turned off gas to the "G" apartments in my building. It is close to two months that we are without gas and they have provided a two burner hot plates to us at the time that the gas was turned off. They may think this would suffice but two months is too long to be using these hotplates to provide meals for an entire family. After months, I received an email from Vanguard shipping requesting over $400 of storage fees over the $800 paid in China for storage, plus had to find a shipper for more money. I purchased this leather warranty for some furniture I purchased. When I called Guardian, the rep at is company changed the wording when I filed a verbal warranty claim to get some furniture repaired. I was then told by the rep that my claim was declined as a result of the wording that she choose to put in her system. When I told her that's not what I said, she said I would now have to appeal for a review of coverage. This company is commiting fraud and using deceptive practices to decline claims. I signed a contract with Slomins in October 07 while our house was under construction. 2 years later and a horrible contractor we have yet to activate the alarm system. We purchased an entire bedroom suite at Room Today totally over $4300. After the set was delivered i found numerous scratches and gouges and the metal trim was not flush on the footboard, dresser, and chest. In 2002 we took deliver of a KitchenAid Refrigerator through Sears, Canada. In the first year Sears came out to repair the freezer at least 6 times and replaced the freezer door once. Under the lemon law we got a replacement KitchenAid product late in that year or 2003. We were advised that the manufaturers defect had been corrrected. Since 2003 Sears has come out at least 10 times to repair the same defects in the freezer and replaced the freezer door again. Dear Home Trends, I have purchased many of your items at Wal Mart and have been pleased with them, but the last comforter I bought has started tearing. I don't remember the name, but it is made up of squares in colors of dk. brown, cream, lt. brown and gold/bronze. It is a King size. The squares that are a gold/bronze color are kind of silky and have started shredding and coming apart from the other squares. I have only had the comforter on my bed since November. I sent them all my information and the $1498 dollar fee after I dealt with a nice man named Larry. He was very reassuring and explained how the whole process worked. I had switched to AmeriGas in the end of October 2008, I got my 250 gallon tank around the 7th of November.When I called to get it filled, the office lady told me that it would be about $560.00 since I was getting a new customer $1.999 a gallon first fill special. Aside from this being dangerous, I was very upset that Walmart could not help me being outside their 90day policy and then I was unable to find any Durabrand contact address to complain to. We purchased an All American Home from All American Homes in January 2002. Our house was one of the first houses with openings on each & every soffet (used for ventilation).
