My husband and I just purchased a Viking Refrigerator from Pacificsales in Irvine. We were told it was a "floor model". Upon deliver we discovered that wasn't the true case. It was so badly damaged that our Viking Executive Appliance Repair service would not even touch it. We were given an extensive report of all the damages. A Goodmans GDB6 Freeview DTV Receiver review - I bought this unit to replace an ALBA Freeview box which suffered tuner failure, so was not pleased when the Goodmans unit failed with the same problem at just over 1 year old. When I complained to Goodmans, I discovered that they are really Alba Radio Ltd. The moral of this story is DON'T BUY anything made by Alba Radio, even if it is badged Goodmans. This company is TERRIBLE. I have dealt with them twice now in regards to delivering mulch and other bulk materials (rock, barkdust) and I'm absolutely sure I will never use them again. They are rude on the phone when taking orders from customers. Reported the noise to Beko after 4 months. The bolts have sheared off hence the concrete falling out, and I am being told this machine is repairable. I bought an Indesit washing machine many years ago which lasted me over ten years. I don't think Indesit are building them to last for very long any more! If you intend on buying a brand new washing machine every year then this one is just fine. I wouldn't recommend this washing machine to anyone. It lasted a year then that was it. If you like spending hours on the phone trying to contact a customer service department to no avail. You like paying over the odds for a extremely noisy washing machine that takes twice as long as it says it will take to complete a wash program. You really look forward to the utter indifference of the visiting repair engineers (you will see many!). What happened? The Drum separated from back housing rendering the LG Dryer completely useless. The service tech said LG should cover since this was a defective design. LG refuses to cover since it's older than 1 year. History: Purchased a 'premium' LG Dryer. 4 months after purchasing there was a problem with the dryer. Berkline Recliners are the worst. My recliner that I have only had for 2 years fell apart. The wood fram for the seat broke apart. All the joints where they glue it together are weakening to the point that the chair wobbles and the reclining mechanism will not close. Berkline's only solution for me is to pay their repairman to come to my house. This is only to see what is wrong not to fix anything. This company was hired to do a building addition for a Church in Kansas City, Ks. He was paid several thousands of dollars from the Church fund but then refused to pay at least 3 of the subcontractors hired by him in this construction. Owned by Paul W. I have lived with my husband in our mobile home for 14 yrs. I have been seriously ill for about 12 of those years, so my husband did the bills, which is not his strong suit. I contracted with ABKA to cut and install granite countertops in my kitchen. They broke several pieces of granite with their carelessness, damaged my cabinets and dishwasher and tried to subsitute a cheaper sink for the one I had provided. Salesman took our $1000 deposit on 7/11/08. Chk was cashed 7/22. Work was supposed to be done on 8/4. Roofing supplies were delivered on 8/1. Dumpster was delivered on 8/4. SAI is the worst company that I have EVER dealt with! Their Customer support (or lack there of) is paramount to fraudulent! If you ever need to contact them with an issue you can expect between a 35-75 minute phone call and you will NOT get anywhere with it. On August 2, 2008 a wind storm caused a tree limb to fall into my garage. My insurace company sent out an adjuster and filed the claim and sent out a check for payment to repair. Our dream turned into a nightmare with Janks Construction. After two years in arbitration, which we won, we learned that Janks used an illegal contract, took a much bigger deposit than allowed by law, used unlicensed sub contractors, breached the illegal contract, and did work that in multiple areas failed to meet building codes. In September I looked in my mailbox to find a receipt for oil delivery, a delivery I never authorized. WhenI talked to the staff they told me they only took clients that were automatic delivery. I told him I never would have asked for any oil delivery if they informed me of that and he said he would not have taken me as a customer. Please don't be fooled by this product, especially if you have a young family and are looking for a trouble-free solution to your garage flooring. They claim to offer a two year warranty and will do a moisture test prior to installation to make sure their product will work.
