Where do I start? First off my experience with LG corporation has caused me to shout it out loud to avoid this company at all costs and don't be fooled by their clever advertisments and flashy looking products. The quaility is not there. The customer service is not there and the compasion towards the consumer is non-exisitant. I tried to purchase furniture covers for my crate furniture. I started the process, picking out different fabrics in May 2007. After choosing different fabrics and finding out that they were no longer available, I found a fabric and ordered covers for a love seat and a chair, along with arm pads for each. I ordered over the phone in July 2007, my credit card was charged, and I waited. They quote you a price of $39.99 just to come out to assess your problem and from $35 for replacement locks then your bill for two locks ends up being $400!! Buyer Beware on purchasing a home with this builder (Bill Lalagos, Casey Leonhardt and Rick Leonhardt) have lied with repairs, on water issues, have not owned up to contractual obligations. Not paying the contractors off so now I have liens pending with such contractors they have not paid. Failure to disclose water issues within the development of a high water table dangerously close to the footings/foundation, shoddy construction, not owning up to warranty repairs for the 1 year period and some are severe that can result in a fire hazard... read full review »

Purchased a Canadian Tire YARDWORKS 24 V cordless lawn mower May 04 2007. Worked well last summer. Stored over the winter as per instructions on page five of owners manual ie. Store fully charged for not more than 6 months with the average temperature below 10 c. This spring lawn mower would not take a full charge and would not hold a charge making it impossible to cut the lawn in one session. Approximately 4 weeks ago I purchased 2 lazy boy recliners from Conn's in the White Settlement area of Fort Worth, TX 76108. The chairs were delivered at the promised time. That was the end of "customer service". One of the chairs was broken (wood frame under the chair is split). I have made repeated calls to the store but have gotten nowhere. Canadian Tire/Yardworks Cordless Electric Lawnmower

Bought the Yardworks Cordless Electric Lawnmower at end of season last year, used it twice this year (could barely cut the grass and would not hold a charge, and now it won't do anything though the light indicator on the side of the mower says that it's fully charged. In other words it's a lemon. I thought Maytag stood for quality...NO MORE! Do not waste your money as I have. I bought 3 appliances in 2002...a Neptune washer dryer set for over $1800 and a dishwasher for over $500. The Neptune washer replaced a 30 year old washer that had earned it's right to die!! In 2007 the Neptune washer (Model MAH5500BWW) motor control ciruit board died and the door gasket was badly molded...we were never notified about the class action suit on the gasket however. We received The Helman Group Model CFF-930 Chocolate Fondue Fountain as a 2007 Christmas present. First tried to use it July 26, 2008. Motor turned too slowly to adequately lift the liquid, then quit entirely. Called the Helman Group July 29, 2008. Customer no-service rep admitted motor and/or gears were defective. Last month, when we had a fault code come up on our dishwasher, my wife called the Clark Appliance company, from which the previous owner purchased our washer. Since there didn't seem to be anything functionally wrong with the washer, she asked if there was a way for us to clear the code, but we were told that a service call would need to be made to correct it. I purchased furniture on line after being told that I could not get the furniture in the actual Ashley store. The furniture came damaged. I gave them time to repair the furniture and they told me that they could not repair the furniture. I had the pieces of furniture they picked up 2 pieces. They still have my money and I can not get my refund even though they keep telling me that I am going to get it. It has been seven months. I purchased a Simplicity Prestige 4x4 lawn tractor that has been nothing but trouble. The motor went bad at less than 10 hours of running time and the transmission was just replaced and the tractor has less than 50 hours on it. After the transmission was replaced I was assured the tractor would run like new. I ran the tractor up and down my lawn and the transmission started acting up again. I called the 800 number to have the account secure removed from my account because my account is in a debt consolidation program and I have cut up my card. The person who answered, argues with me and kept saying that I did not need to get rid of it. I told her I just wanted it taken off and she kept arguing with me until I just had to hang up because I could get no satisfation. My husband and I bought a repo'ed mobile home and were assured that everything was connected properly. Only to find out two years later that it was not and the flooring around the air conditioning unit is now gone. IFB Microwave Oven

I bought an IFB microwave oven that stopped functioning well within warranty. IFB did not respond till the end of warranty; every time we complained, only to have a number, and to realize later that their support desk closed the ticket without even attending the problem, with a comment that the problem was resolved!! I have never seen such a fake service support for any product from any company I have so far. It is currently lying as a junk and I am currently using another one from a different company without problem. I was presented with a bill for $80, 000 for services that I felt were not performed. The contractor, Peter C. Seidel, requested that I sign a promissory note to him and that he would send details of the expenses which we would then negotiate. He failed to send me any detail of the work he supposedly performed and took me to court, suing me for $80, 000 plus $10, 000 in attorney fees and costs. NEW WORLD Movers - SCAM!!! Do not use this company. I got a quote for $595. Extremely proximate move of apartments (not too much stuff). I even told them I had stairs and there was a walkway (which $300 was later tacked on for). The movers did OK, but as they were moving (they arrived 2 hours late), one of them rushed me through paperwork to sign without explaining it and I never recieved copies of the paperwork. I have a an air conditioner/ heater window unit for my appartment that the air mover motor failed two years ago. conns service piced up the unit and lept it for 7weeks to repair and when it was return "fixed" they installed it and advied that it would start to cool, 30 mins later electrical smoke apeared and the unit was burning inside. the unit was unplugged and service came out 3 days later and kept it for another 3 weeks. Was told about the $75 minimum fee no matter what the problem with my fridge was. Was prepared to pay that, as my research indicated that is the average hourly rate paid for appliance repair nationwide apparently. However, technician spent 20 minutes, cleaning out a drain from the defrost system of the freezer in the fridge, replace no parts, and charged $198.00! In summer 2007, I entered into a contact with Olmstead Landscaping to complete a significant project around our pool (lawn, sprinkler system, lighting, fencing, bug spray system). 2000 Sofa Factory - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE The Furniture we ordered from 2000 Sofa Factory was soft and comfortable in the store. What was delivered to us on 5-14-08 was a chair, couch, loveseat that were hard and very uncomfortable w/recliner mechanisms that won't close right. I called 2 weeks in advance of the appt I set up to repair my treadmill and specifically requested the 1st appt of the day or as early as possible. I was told I would receive a call the night before to confirm the specific time of my appt (7/25/08). I received the worst customer service ever at Ikea in Fort Lauderdale. Several customers were trying to exchange unused items in a open original box, and the young lady on the return register stated to all of them, one by one, in a very rude manner, that they were used and no exchange would be done. As a subcontractor we preformed work for this company and they do not pay without having to be sued. The company is Brite Lite signs in Houston, Texas. The woman owner is a liar and thief. After further questioning of ex-employees they have also confirmed other contractors that have been ripped off and lied too. It's too bad companies like this are allowed to continue to stay in business. This cost taxpayers money when you tie up the courts to collect money owed by these rip-off companies. I purchased a Liner from this website back in May. When I received the liner I noticed it was a little thinner than the liner that was already in my pool, so I called the manufacturer's name that was on the box. They told me that it is not a 25 gauge virgin vinyl liner (which is what was indicated on the linerworld website)- in fact it was only 20 gauge and it was RECYCLED VINYL- none of the vinyl works above ground liners are virgin vinyl. I purchased an ottoman that has popped buttons for 3 times. The second time I called after 6 weeks to find the piece just laying there with not intention to fix it. I paid over $800 for this piece. It has broken again. I called the store several times and no one even answers the phone! I also complained the fabric has not lasted, it is deteriorating and has not kept its crisp finish. Their Anaheim branch is simply horrible. The sales manager, believe his name was Ryan, cannot be trusted. In their sales pitch, they claim their so much better on the service end of things than their competition. I don't think so.
