The ice machine on my G.E. appliance stopped working. I called GE and set up an appointment to get it fixed. I was told that there would be a $99.99 trip fee and that parts would be extra. I had to wait from 8 to 5 p.m. so had to take a day off from work. Keith Thomas was to have cut down dead trees in our yard, ground down stumps, and returned with mulch. He was 2 weeks late in removing the trees and then asked for the entire payment. This company was paid for a very large landscaping project at our home. One month after the start of the project 2 large expensive trees died. Owner promised they were covered under warranty and they would take care of it. I purchased a home in Livermore California in 2001. The roof was new in 1997 and just recently I had a inspection to say the roof shingles that where used are under warranty for pre-mature cracking and that the same type of shingles have been replaced on many homes. I requested a replacement under a pro rated work up and was declined stating that since I was not the original owner so the warranty was not transferable. I do not think this is fair and for me to replace a roof only after 11 years is unheard of! We bought 2 chairs and a couch from Braden's. The chairs were chosen from a photo and a "similar" piece was shown to us on the showroom floor. Upon delivery, they were not the same at all. I purchased a whirlpool front load washer at trail appliances ltd 2 years ago the washer broke down and I had a repair person come in he told me it needed 3 parts and that it would take 2 to 3 week to get them.
