I purchased shutters for a window that had to be special ordered. Upon ordering, I was told it would take 30-38 days for delivery to my home. After the 38 days had expired, I went to Lowe's and spoke with the asst. mgr. who assured me the scheduled delivery would be in one week. Again, I did not receive the shutters. My next call to the store manager, disclosed a problem in shipment and the 'new' delivery date would be in one more week. Over three months later, I still do not have my shutters. I had lodged the complaint on 21st Oct for the first time about my aquagaurd. The complaint number given to me was80108693. The complaint was that my aquaguard needs service and is not working properly. I was told that the service man will resopnd in 1day. i received an offer to purchase a 3-year extended warranty on my Jenn-Aire applicance that I purchased in November 2005. I received the offer to extend in in October and have previously dealt with thei Maytag Dependability Plus contracts I paid the $127.84 and when the certificate came in i filed it away. We hired BELINDA THAIN of TIMBER STYLE HOMES to build our dream home. A year later, having completed only 37% of the works, she abandoned site with over ONE MILLION RAND of our money. My consumer no is 1934 with Lotus Gas Agency, Mysore, dealers of Indane gas. While I was away from the city during October 2007, my consumer number was obviously used to supply gas to unauthorized persons. My repeated requests to them to supply gas refill cylinder has resulted in a reply that refill would be supplied immediately, but no supply has taken place inspite of calling them nearly a dozen times. I ordered Patch Perfect from TV ad that states price as $19.95 + S&H & was to cover 100 sq ft. We received the product & the box had no invoice & 5 tiny bags of the seed. I received my credit card bill & Patch Perfect billed me $111.60! I called Patch Perfect & they said I ordered "Professional" & I don't know what that means. I simply called from the TV ad. Bought new sectional in July 2007. The recliner has broken twice already. The third time they end the part with no technician, then the technician came with out tools. As of this writing it is not fixed. The worst problem is the cushions from the sleeper side of the sectional comes out after sitting on it for 2 minuts. I bought AQUAGUARD TOTAL RO SMART from Eureka Forbes in 16 Aug, 2006. In 10 Aug, 2007, the product gave me some problem and when i registered a complaint, the Service Engineer came and replaced the RO membrane with old one which he has brought. It was working for one week and after that it was giving problem. When i approached the Service center, they said that the warranty is over and i need to sign an AMC with them for Rs 3500. I ordered a flag and special holder for my daughterinlaw in December 2006 and ran in to the same problems many other people did. I never received the product, they took my money, and phone calls were never returned. I have one e-mail response from July that said they would get probablem resolved, but never has been. I note on the website today they indicate there are new owners and will try to resolve problems with prior owners. We'll see. Be aware of this crook ! We purchased a bedroom set at premium price. However, what we received is the seems to be used one or return furniture. To repair a popup leak, I was charged $241.95. This supposed to be a free estimate and yet he took everything apart. And than said it would be $194.95 which I thought was much too much to begin with but I said go ahead and repair it, because everything was taken apart. I guess that's the trick (take everything apart so not to leave it without a pipe on the bottom of the sink)the customer would agree to pay those absorbent prices. The charge was $150.00 for installing a $4.00 wax ring,which I was told would last 10 years. 8 months later the toliet is leaking in the same spot. Gave a $2885 deposit to Tarik Mese, salesperson for Zone 5 Inc, former employee of SSMF April 20, 2007 for replacement of 4 large windows/2 large glass sliding doors for my North Miami Condo. As the months went by it got harder and harder to reach Tarik Mese or Wallace Lawson, Owner of Zone 5. The business number has been disconnected. In August I finally spoke to Tarik and he informed me they were not able to fill my order and would return my deposit. The refrigerator for a year and 10 days ,then we found out that it had stopped working. We called it in and one of the customer service agents said that it would cost us for someone to come out and look at it. She checked the warranty and said that it was out of warranty,I told her that it should'nt be going out already if we only had it for a year that it shoul've lasted a while longer than it did. We contacted the warranty company and lived a nightmare waiting on them to arrive to "exam it". They finally decided to replace the piece (only after the salesman pushed for this) and then the replacement piece did not match in our livingroom. I had air ducts cleaned out on 10/25/07, furnace working great!! for approx. 1 week turned up thermostat (house did not get above 65 degrees) thought it was the thermostat, so i had a contractor look at it maybe put new one in. he said problem was all dirt from air duct cleaning was blown into furnace therefor shutting furnace down. Sears who originally cleaned air ducts claims they didn't do it and have promised me for 2 days they would look at it. as of today no one has shown up. I have children in the house they need heat. Definitive custom homes of San Antonio, Texas built a home that has numerous major water leaks due to both plumbing and exterior construction issues. It took almost 2 years for the builder to correct other major problems like severely scratched windows and buckled wood floors. I had a lock placed in the front door of my apartment by this company and I was charged 360. Four days later I was locked out of my apartment because the new lock was malfunctioning. Being locked out I had no phone, no wallet, or any access to any internet connection. I was lucky enough to find a number for a locksmith who could open up the door for me (who again charged me 350). Stainsafe came to my home because of a claim I made, and determined the couch needed replacement cushions. 8 weeks later I called inquiring about my cushions since they said it would take 4-6 weeks to receive, and I had yet to receive them. This company, based in Needham, Massachusetts, promises to be the "small job specialist" and offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. My experience was that they do not follow through on either. The workmanship was absolutely horrible. All jobs I hired them to do (jobs they assured me would be no problem and well within their expertise - removing wallpaper, painting, fix a leaky faucet).
