Kenmore Front Load Washer - this wash machine has mold that continually builds up behind the door gasket and I believe around the drum itself. I have tried to keep it clean but to no avail, our towels smell something awful. I have called Sears 3 times, but only get a runaround, the only option they provide is to have a technician come out ($59.00) and diagnose the problem, which I already know. I cut my toe on the razor sharp edge of the warming oven. 4 stitches required. Others in family have also been cut by oven. This is not a defect limited to my stove. Frig set at recommended settings the vegetable and meat drawers are at or below freezing (30 to 32degrees) Had multiple service calls with so called fixes and still have problem. Set frig to max and the veg compartment will only rise one or two degrees. The damper at the top of the frig clicks and clacks all the time. This part has been replaced 3 times and still have the problem. Sears has no ideas except to send a different person each time. Maybe they think they will wear us out. I purchased Empire Floors for hardwood and carpet for my home. After initial problems, (like the lead person talking on his cell phone all day about how there was a warrant out for his arrest), the hardwood floor was installed. It seemed fine. The he said it was the compressor and it should take a week to get the part in. A week goes by I call the service people up that came to check. No one cares, and no one is willing to help me in a timely manner. I recently repainted my kitchen with its nearly new Aristokraft kitchen cabinets (less than 3 years old). To mask, I purchased Scott's painters tape at Home Depot. When we pulled the tape off, off came the finish from the sides of 8 kitchen cabinets. I now have a kitchen full of cabinets that have at least an 1" streak of missing "paper veneer" that apparently is used to cover the sides of all kitchen cabinets. Nothing is solid wood anymore. In a recent trip to the Jockey Club in Las Vegas (Sept. 28, to Oct. 5) the construction in and around the place is extensive. The construction (building twin towers; City Center) basicly goes on 24/7 and the noise from the construction can be plainly heard during the night and day. It appears that this is a company that doesn't recognize Canada's Thankgiving. My latest billing had a due date of Oct 8th (Thanksgiving) when Canadian banks were closed. I paid the bill through online banking on Oct 5th (Friday) but because of the weekend and Thanksgiving this was not noted as received until Oct 9th. (It shows as paid on Oct 5th) I was charged a late penalty (the bill shows payment received on the 9th). Calling the 888 number had this corrected (or it will be on the next bill hopefully). In July '04 we purchased the Kenmore Washer at Sears based on Consumer's Reports recommendations and the dependable "Kenmore" name. I have purchased Whirlpool washing machine Model WM - F65 on 1-1-2007 ( Date of Manufacture by the Company was 16-11-2006 ) in Trivandrum . On 14-10-07 white magic has failed in warranty period and now makes hell of a noise while on . I logdged complaint to Service centre , Trivandrum . They checked WM and told that its PCB has gone bad.
