I've never done this before but I just want to see if anyone else is having problems with Sears. Within the past 6 months or so I've had a reoccurring problem with my Kenmore Elite Dryer. When you open the door, the light turns on, but when you go to press a button for which ever load cycle you want, it doesn't work! In December 2006 my husband bought me a table and chairs for Christmas. In April I noticed that the table was peeling and one chair cushions was also having a problem. I called Roomful Express in May and the company sent out a gentlemen to look at the items. Roomful Express was to replace the table top and the chair cushion. It is now October and Roomful Express still has not replaced the items. Every time I call to find out what is going on the keep telling us that its the manufacturer they are waiting to hear from. Hello, Approx three months ago Bensons Beds delivered some beds for me, the day before I had my whole house carpeted in cream colored (very expensive) carpet. Our brand new Whirlpool top-loading washer (model WTW5800STW0) was defective as soon as it was installed. The warranty repair was made (after a 2-week delay) and the same problem persists. Multiple calls and the problem is still not resolved. Whirlpool needs to improve its quality control in the factory so new machines are not shipped with defects. This fake online service goes out of there way to find credit card users info, than hit them with unknown charges. If you fail to catch it the first time they repeat the process to see how long they can get away with it. Your card company can only charge back a few months. The scam comes from Athomerewards or Passporttofun, which I report once and change my card number so it would not be hit again. 1 1/2 years ago I purchased a matching GE Profile washer and dryer because in the last 40 years I've had two GE washers that worked really well. The Profiles are a disaster. The computers on both washer and dryer don't work. If you set the dryer on permanent press it dries for 3 minutes and cuts off. The clothes are sopping wet. I bought an alarm system from Brinks Home security at the beginning of 2007 and have had nothing but problems. The alarm goes off at least once a week for no apparent reason. I own a huskey 1650 powerwash that requires replacement of faulty parts (gun hose assembly, quick connect fitting). An email was sent to Huskey 9/26/07 for the parts order and payment. On 9/1/07, we had a blackout in our house. My wife called Citywide Electric for service as I was out of town. She agreed to the diagnostic fee of $19.50 over the phone. They sent an electrician to inspect the problem. The electrician quickly found that the breaker was tripped. He reset the breaker without prior negotiation of additional fees. I have a ceramic glass top electric stove. I smelled a funny smell one night before going to bed chemical or something. In the morning I awoke to a broken stove top.
