Hi, We had booked a 3 BHK flat in the project of Star Homes - STAR COUNTY - ALUVA, in October 2008. At that time the construction was in piling stage. We paid more than 50% of the cost till date, strictly to the payment scgedule, until the company asked us to hold the payment. And even after the proposed completion date as per the sale agreement, it is still in the piling stage. The company is going on extending the re-start of the work and handing over indefinitely. I was ripped off by John Moore. They charged $807 to replace a 15 ft PVC pipe. It was an emergency but afterwards I got 5-6 bids on the job andwas told it should not have cost more than $200. THey charged $599 for a 15 ft piece of PVC pipe that would have cost less than $15. I have tried talking to them but they just blow me off. Bluewater pays once per month, and like Etc they pay their subs regardless of if or when they have been paid by their clients. Thus, we will immediately adopt that approach as a joint organization. Joe Cortino of Cortinos Contracters is a 5 time felon in the state of Pennsy. He doesn't tell his customers that when he takes their money and buys and sells illegal narcotics with it. Cortino made me pay in full for a job he never did. Doing a search of his name finds that he has been arrested and charged with drug offenses too many times to count. There is abnormal delay in delivery of gas cylinders from this agency (of atleast 30 days or more). When one follows up, they say that they did not receive the order at all. They don't give us bills even when we ask for it and charge us more than what is the bill rate. We found Concord Pacific Group Inc build very poor quality of construction and misinform homeowner about customer service. During warranty period we had found lots of construction code violations. Every time company management state they missed things during construction. We do understand nobody is perfect but dealing with Concord Pacific Group was a hell of the time. "Good enough" type work. Left groomed gravel area with dirt from excavation. Pavers not secured or compacted properly at edges so cars are pushing pavers into the ground. They did not adjust pavers to fit roll up door closure leaving gap exposing inside to weather, critters, or leaves to blow under the door. They caused flooding on the opposite side during rains. Do not purchase Guardsman or Overstock (serviced by Guardsman) protection plans. This is a total scam. They will basically steal your money. You will get very rude customer service, they will make you go though ridiculous procedures (sending bunch of paperwork - emails are not allowed :) just to tell you that your damage is NOT covered. I broke my leg 3 weeks ago. It is very unusual and nasty injury. My doctor called it particularly bad and rare case. So I lay in bed with my leg propped waiting for a surgery. I hired BOB SAGE of Livingston NJ to fix a sky light. He gave me a 3yr guarantee. I tried to call over the fall & winter but the phone was disconnected, making me think he went out of business. I talked with the salesman at Springhouse Windows and Doors in Paoli, PA. I picked out the window that I wanted. He installed the wrong windows and charged me almost $4, 000 for three windows. When I complaint about the wrong windows he outright told me that he was not going to install the right windows because he said that he already installed the right windows. This turned into an uphill battle whereas I called Super Marvin and they did nothing. Now, I am stuck with ugly windows and Springhouse could care less. Only 15 years after installation, 5 of my 8 Marvin windows need to be replaced because the frames, sills and even some sashes, have rotted. The only 3 that don't need replacement are located under a porch roof. I purchased the windows with Marvin's now discontinued "Flexicron" finish. Do not ever call this company for repairs in Yucca Valley They must be the worst possible plumbing company in California. I have heard several horror storys about customers that used their service and wern't satisfied in the least. Were very helpful and positive about product questions. Gave good vibe on "customer service", "repeat customers", etc. Basically they had all the "right" answers & attitude to make a new customer feel safe & confident about making a purchase. We waited over a month and called 4 times or so and finally reached someone who said it was still on back order. I asked for a refund and they said they would do it "right away".
