I recently damaged my vehicle because of a street-light pole that is situated in the driveway of a residence in Wierda Park. The street-light pole is planted in such a position that causes it to be a hazard. Numerous vehicles have been damaged by this specific pole. Once you place you order online, you get numerous sales messages and phone calls. Then you have to duplicate your order, including sensitive info, over the phone. I was then promised a written confirmation that day via email. It took me four phone calls and two weeks to get that confirmation. I was also to receive a free solar light. Never came. I hired the owner of this company to re-do my kitchen cabinets, the contract stated that half of the agreed amount to begin the project and two additional payment when the product was deliverd and completed. The worst driveway work I have seen by a contractor. He is a thief and should be investigated by the District Attorneys Office in both Nassau and Suffolk County. Please check with consumer affairs and Better Business Bureau before using this company I just wish I did. Sewer was backing up, called Gillece based on the $99 special... The only good thing was that they didn't charge us for their bogus advice. They ran a camera into the drain and claimed root damage was the problem and quoted us $8, 800 flat fee to repair... and refused to even snake the drain "company policy", meaning they could fix it for $99 or try to hose you for $8800, they chose the latter... This company will not sell any repair parts. Things like brushes that wear out and can not be ordered. They instead tell me i will have to order a whole new ridgid k3800 at a cost of 1200$ just because I need a set of 30$ brushes . I offered to pay through many of the supply houses that carry these tools if they could just get a set of brushes. I was offered work as an Electrical Supervisor at Gazimpex Construction. The wanted $210 for a n Affidavit. I was almost scammed out of money by a Cameroon Scams and therefore were sceptical when payment for documentation were asked. I send an email to the South African Embassy in Ghana and they confirmed that this is a scam. Thank you to our Embassy for making the effort to make enquiries on my behalf. Andersen seems to be run like most insurance companies. The policy is to deny, deny, deny and hope you give in. We had patio door issues with a brand new Andersen door. We recently had some wind damage to our mobile home. The wind took off the skirting from the bottom of the mobile home. It only took off half the stuff. We filed a claim, the adjuster came out and told us the quote we sumitted was to high and was to replace all of the skirting with new. Farm Bureau will only cover what was taken down. Instead of replaceing all the skirting with new we have to put up new on half the home and keep the old on the other half. How stupid does that look. Its ugly. What insurance company would do that. I have been in my home for 9 years. I have recently contacted MI Windows and Doors about the seals on their windows. They are stating that the windows are covered under the warranty and that they will replace them. However, I have to measure, pay for the shipping, and install or have them installed myself. Keeping in mind that any error in measuring would be at my expense. Also, when I asked why I would have to pay for shipping they stated that the warranty just changed as of 1/1/10. On April 5, 2011, my husband and I signed a contract with Sears to have our house sided. We were told the job would start immediately and end within a month. It took one month before anyone showed up to start the job. When the crew arrived, they brought the wrong color siding. Poor quality units and workmanship, the 'finished' bedrooms were left on completion covered in sawdust, pencil marks, ill fitting wardrobe doors and fronts and three holes in the wall. These are expensive Bespoke Bedrooms, which are of poor quality and not worth the money. We purchased a microwave oven from Bray & Scarff's Sterling, VA store. The microwave failed to operate 2 months after the purchase.
