I ordered a sample for $3.85. Since then we have been charged twice for $ 87.47. I called and talked to them and they just gave me the run around saying we needed to cancel the order in a certain amount of days or it would not have been charged. I talked to the manager Ella Montcarlo and she gave me the same run around. They did not even send me what I had ordered. I ordered the Dental Hygiene Pen and they sent me whitening gel. I purchased a bike from Bicycle Works and was not relayed their return policy in person. No signs were posted anywhere either. The policy on their receipt states that "All refunds must be accompanied by receipt". The Aspen Dental scam happened to me at their office in Springfield, Ohio. In June and July 2010. I firmly believe that the reason that they are such a big corporation now is because they have been scamming for some time. Really, what is irrigation with Chlorhex? I ordered a 'free trial' sample after viewing a website on a reputable site (CNN I believe). A journalist was endorsing an acai berry product that was supposed to have many great properties . I foolishly (yes, I admit it) ordered a free sample and gave them my credit card information. My husband ordered me some Reebok Easy Tone shoes from this site. I rec'd the shoes in abouat 2 1/2 weeks. The shoes were off balance, 1 shoe had the easy tone balls on the bottom and the other shoe had the ball except they were completely FLAT. They try to get you to buy the special, "buy 2 get 2 free" for $159. I bought only one bottle for $90 and it never arrived but the credit card was charged a day after order time. The "risk-free trial" is also a scam in that the 30 day trial starts at order time, not arrival time. They claim it takes "around" 2 weeks to ship. After 32 days, no shipment. Customer Service is very difficult to get through and if you do, they refuse to cancel the shipment or refund money unless you return the pills (which I never got).
