I worked for adefx for about 2 and a half months. I left in early January. They have owed me about $370 (Andrew of Adefx agrees that I am owed this money) since I stopped working there. I have made several attempts to pick up the cheques but nobody can ever find them, or Andrew is not there, or a variety of other excuses. This company offered a free sample of Wu-Yi tea packets for the cost of shipping and handling. I did not agree to an automatic billing agreement yet they sent more of their product for $67.00, which I never would have agreed to. And there is no answer on their 800 number and the credit card company says I have to contact them to discontinue. I now cannot find their website. I currently have health insurance coverage with Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan through the COBRA law. It expires January 1st of 2009... I have less than 2 months to find new health care. I can not reach any one at customer service ever! There is no envoice or packing slip to check with an order number etc. My credit card company is working on this as well and I keep recieving new bottles in the mail that I did not order. This Veteran's Hospital is a big joke. They only have ONE phone extension to contact your doctor and only ONE extension for the pharmacy. Everybody who works at this hospital seems to be under the impression that they have ultimate power over the veterans, which is obvious by the way the veterans are treated by the VA staff. If you want to talk to your doctor, you will be put on hold for (sometimes) up to 45 minutes or more - the same is true if you're trying to reach the pharmacy. I was working for this company doing liquor demos and they had a big contract with Dominicks and they continued to string me along about my pay. I worked with them on a constant basis, doing at least three demos per week. I did not recieve my pay for five demos and they started screening the calls and soon after they just disappeared.
