I have recently been informed that Choice Hotels brand Sleep Inn, is employing convicted felons, and especially grand larceny convicts to work cleaning their rooms while on work release from jail. I cancelled a booking because the selected hotel did not have an airport shuttle as advertised, and was not near the airport, also as advertised. I got charged $15 for cancellation. I am of the opinion that this fee is inappropriate. The search engine on their web site produces deceptive results, leading customers to make reservations for hotels that do not meet the requested input parameters. Notwithstanding the fine print on their web site, there should be an implied warranty that the results of the reservation process are accurate to the input parameters requested. I have never in my whole life ever heard of a Hotel ever having their electric shut off. We are paying good money through our insurance company to stay here for 110.00 a day. Rediculous attitude when we visited and interacted for a banquet booking for 600 people at Marriott Hyderabad India wherein the managers have literally played with brand name of Marriott. On January 13th, 2011 I booked 2 flights from Cape Town to Durban using SAA Voyager miles. I was quoted an amount of R306 per person for airport taxes. Saturday, April 16th, we were trapped in Bellagio's 90-degree plus parking structure with thousands of other vehicles for 2 full hours despite access to a back way out of the structure that the security staff refused to allow their guests. That house was very dirty inside/out and the owner did not provide services advertised on his web site. The state at Shangrila Country Hotel between Warmbath/belabela and Modimolle is horiffic. The carpets smell like dead meat, bathrooms are dirty and their linen had old blood stains from the matress cover to the duvet covers. Hello. I recently stayed at the Comfort Inn located near Universal Studios Orlando, FL. The purposes of the stay were business given that all other hotels in the area were at capacity. I very upset after reading the complaint about The Aloha Beach House. We stayed at The Aloha Beach House for two weeks and were treated excellent. The house is very spacious and the owner and the caretaker were very accommodating. The caretaker picked up groceries for us due to a late arrival and left lights on at the house so we could recognize it. These people make false promises of drop points and in middle of night tell passengers to get down outside city. I booked ticket after enquiring of drop points and VRL people confirmed the same. Then at 3:15 AM Driver tells it as last stop of pune and needs to go to mumbai and tells all to get down. I have never traveled with this line before but however this was my 17th cruise. It was the worst experience of my life. There is not one good thing I can say about this cruise line. The staff was terriable.
