I had reservations through Travelocity made a few months back for rooms at the Good Nite Inn in Fremont Ca. from Dec 28th through Jan. 1st. we stayed until Dec. 31st but left one night early as the person I was traveling with became ill. We canceled our New Years Eve plans in San Francisco and tried to cancel our motel room. We were told I had to contact Travelocity as I made my reservations through them. Such a bunch f deceivers!!! I was tricked to go to their presentation in June 18, 2010. After two hours of listening to lies, I ended with a bunch of papers, one of which says complete package, promoting among other things two free nights of hotel stay and $30 in Diner certificate. Sounds good but... it took extensive mailing back and forth, $50 per person refundable fee ($100 in my case), payable by casher check or money order only. I'm not really complaining I hope this is also welcome here. My experience with VIP Travel wasn't bad, in fact it was rather satisfying. I had two promotions from VIP, one for FLY USA, which was for 2 round trip tickets for 2 adults anywhere in the US, and one was for a 7 day car rental. VIP coordinated the two for me, I flew to Portland, OR in early December for an early Christmas celebration with my daughter and grand kids. I boarded a flight on us air on 1/2, to Dallas from NY. The flight had major delays by the airline. Late check in that completed almost one hour after boarding time. Two prisoners which they did not know what to do and created more delays. Overbooking the flight which caused more delays. As a result of the delays connecting flights were missed. Booked Avalon Reef Hotel (Mexico) through Expedia.ca. They promise amenities (which you pay for) that aren't available. Hotel is a dump, completely misrepresented by Expedia. Called Expedia who have customer service (use the term lightly) staff in Egypt who can't do anything but ask you to write a complaint on Expedia's website. We too were scammed by Raj at from this travel agency. We bought two R/T tickets from Hong Kong to Delhi at what I though was a great pricw which of course was too good to be true as it turned out. I called the carrier, Jet Airways when I noticed the flight times had been changed on their website but I had received no notification of this. I purchased a travel membership from this this companyand their travel provider for $697 their customer service was non existent and I was never able to access a vacation! I complained as was my right to do so as a consumer .I had also read about serious allegations concerning David Pollock the CEO travel provider which I wanted to check out . On a exceptionally clear day NCL did not stop at there destination that we paid for on a three day cruise we made one stop bahamas and that was it. I planned to go snorkeling at the second stop and they cancelled it. I accuse this ship of fraud. The captain cancelled the trip for rough seas. It was clear out and 2 to 3 foot waves with excellent visibility I took photos of it for proof with the ships deck in view so it is clear I am on the ship. A return flight Faro – Lyon was booked with ebookers France for May 2010. Due to the volcanic ash problems the flight could not be executed due to major delays. The operator TAP gave us the necessary papers to enable us to claim the refund with ebookers. All the necessary info was submitted to ebookers. However now 7 months later and after a lot of correspondence we have still not received the refund from ebookers. Conclusion: ebookers does not refund your cancelled flight. Not only they charged an exorbiant amount but also their tour organiser ran away with the entire money in the middle of the tour. Hotels provided to us were filthy and degraded. Food was awful. I came on 24th of December from Mumbai to Germany by air India flight Nr. AI 120 at arround 7 O clock in evening. Flight was delayed without compensation. My bag was opened and torned. My luggage is stolen. My important documents are also stolen. There was no one to lodge complaint there. Why are those bastards doing like that? I lost my money in the baggage arround 700 Euros. The owners did not put us in the room we booked. Instead they placed us in a dirty, dilapidated and bug infested room in which half the appliances were faulty. It also lacked essentials like toilet paper and clean towels. We were also without electricity or hot water for the majority of our stay. Never mind compensation, the owners didn't even care enough to apologize or even speak to us regarding our complaints. Yesterday I arrived from Paris to New York, JFK one hour late due to the weather at 11:pm. Flight AF010. We were kept in the airplane for 5-6 hours until 5 am. I still do not understand how the entire airport of JFK could not find a boarding dock for the airplane to release us. My group of travel companions and I booked on this airline to fly within Peru because it was cheaper than LAN. What a mistake! The airline cancelled a flight and re-scheduled it for the following day, and on that day it left several hours late. Then for the return flight, the delay in departure time was about 4 hours--with no explanations. I wish to bring to your attention that the the staff at the Dubai International Airport are very impolite. They don't answer questions they just dismiss you. If you attempt to ask for the Second time, they get annoyed. I cannot understand why these people are even employed if they cant even assist a Passenger.
