I called to get some info as to were I would stay in Lake Tahoe and they wouldn't tell me until I gave them a $50.00 deposit. I would like to know my options of hotels and if I can stay at South shore or North. I don't think its out of reason to have this info before I send money. Room booking failed to be put thorough. I only discovered this when I mentioned to a friend to book the same hotel and he discovered they had no record of my booking. Laterooms.com advertise rate parity also for all their hotels. I am being charged 10 GBP more by booking through them than the rate advertised on the hotel site. We paid a substantial amount of money for the "Timeshare" even thou they deny. I was told that if we was not happy they could reslae in hours because the deal was so good. They even said they would take back if we changed our mind. Within 5 days we decided we had done wrong and emailed to ask them to take back or sell on. Hilton Grand Vacations makes offers for you to look at their timeshares. I flew- my cost- to Las Vegas just for this purpose. It was not at all what I expected. At the end they gave us a "gift receipt" for Delta Sky miles. It has been 11 months and we still have not received them. They abuse their housekeepers. They make them clean like 30 rooms like in 6 to 7 hours a day. The hotel makes the housekeepers lie to the guests for example like if they ask for something like a laundry bag you would have to say that you would get it for them when the hotel has not even order any at all and if the guest gets mad they will scream at you. We checked in on Sun Nov 8. When we arrived, we found this resort to be like a townhouse community. We were put up in a room about 1/5 mile from the main area of the resort. Once we opened the balcony doors, they is bat excrement and urine on the chairs and the floors. We complained about that from the start. This particular resort has the slowest food service. My wife and I rented this house for a week in June of 2009. The pictures were very attractive and the location was perfect, the north shore of Kauai in Hanalei. Beware of bonus cash from Priceline... I chose Priceline over other sites at first because they offered 2 nights of hotel voucher. Purchased a $ 4000 vacation package on September 30, 2009 from WestJet vacations. This package was booked during a period when they were offering a $ 400 travel coucher when booking a vacation package for a couple.
