Stranded in over107 degree heat after a bus had a flat tire. Instead of call someone in the town 5 miles away they sent a person from Las Vegas. We had no water on the bus. We just returned from the Dominican Republic/Majestic Colonial Resort. Flight from SIN to BKI was about to land at about 11am on 1st August, when suddenly it started to climb altitude again. The pre-landing announcement was also made and cabin crew were instructed to be in their seats. Subsequently no announcement/reason/explanation was provided to the passengers for the sudden change in altitude and possibly change in direction as well. At the time I didn't notice the $4.99 site fee for booking through them (it was "buried" in the list of fees) and was surprised when I saw it on my cc statement. The thing that made me decide this site wasn't worth the visit much less the fee was that the hotel had no record of the the reservation. We booked a trip to New York City through Expedia. As an 81 year old computer novice somehow I double booked including Hampton Inn. Not where we will stay. Front desk manager Frank Cortese refuses to offer any relief for us. Probably he is following the RULES!. Most likely my own fault but we have saved for this trip for a long time and now if we have to pay for a room we won't use our trip is totally spoiled. He still has three weeks to rent the room and a little compassion would help us have a trip of our lifetime to New York City. Something we have dreamed about for some time. The airline "zeroed" and canceled the second flight on a round trip ticket I purchased because I apparently did not show up for my first flight when indeed I did and I had a boarding pass to prove it. I ended up calling the 1-800 customer service line to talk to very rude agents in India who denied that I ever boarded the plane. After spending hours on the phone, I had to drive all the way to the airport to talk to an agent in person who finally admitted that the airline made a mistake. We booked a salmon fishing trip with this charter company. The rates were $150 per person with a minimum of two people and a maximum of 6 people. There was also an exclusive boat rate. We asked about the boat rate and were advised that it was $500 and there would be no competition for my wife and I. When we went on the trip we were very disappointed with the fact that nobody else was out fishing, there was no competition and no fish. We could have just paid $300 for my wife and I. I joined a new membership at Royal Elite Vacations back in May of 2009 and was presented with an All-Inclusive vacation to the Sandos Resorts in the Mia Riviera Mexico with all the fees paid for including my food and licquor. My wife and I went to the Sandos in June of 2009 on a weeks notice and we had the time of our life. It was everything we were told it would be and the staff was extremely friendly. I have to jump on the band wagon and admit I was also scammed out of $1, 287 after Creative Vacation Solutions contacted me stating they had a buyer for my time share in March of this year. They had somehow received my information from another company where I also paid $900 (which is another complaint) to market and sell my timeshare. Thursday 20th August, 2009 - Chiswick, London 93 flights before 7am. Thats more than one a minute as of 4h42 when i was woken up yet again. This is not right to disturb millions of habitants like this. The loss of productivity every day and the stress endured because of this far outweights the benefits of having a plane from Hong Kong land at 4h42 or 4h26 like last Thrusday instead of a more reasonable time like 6h45 or 7am. I and my husband had spent few days of our vacations in Best Western Hotel in Jamaica, NY. When we entered the hotel itself we were really disappointed. The hallway and the check in-out area were really dirty. The elevators looked like they would stop any moment. When we went to the room we were really disgusted. It was a terrible little room. First thing the parking lot was few blocks away from the hotel and it required a voucher for parking which I not receive due to ignorant check-in-clerk. Over ten years ago, my wife and I were given Lifetime Diamond VIP cards. This card allowed us maximum privileges in the Hilton Honors program. In October 2007 Hilton Corporation sent us an unsolicited Gold VIP card, which offers considerably less privileges than the lifetime diamond card. Still trying to supply them with endless documentation requests. We were put through obtaining multiple letters from the attending Physician. Smooth talking salesman Mark Mcgee had to have my $400 by the end of the week, because he had a family that wanted to buy my timeshare. I can't believe I fell for this scam! I drive a truck cross country and broke down on 08/16/09 and the company put the wife, dog and I up in a motel6 affiliate called studio 6 in garland, texas.I'm being reimbursed for the room but still my company is getting screwed. first it has a 49.00 plus 10.00 for the extra person and a 10.00 fee for the dog. I have a USAir credit card and I pay the annual fee in April (my anniversary date) On my anniversary date I am supposed to receive a coupon code good for 2 companion tickets for $99 (plus some other benefits). I pay the annual fee to get this feature. I have repeatedly called USAIR credit card company since after over 4 months I have not received my codes. At first they told me I had to wait 6-8 weeks from my anniversary date for mailing. Never rec'd. That brought me into July. They told me they would resend the package. An issue came up in which I had to leave Miami, FL on July 5, 2009 and fly back to my hometown of Virginia.
