DECEPTIVE ADVERTISING!!! - This site offers you beds at a great price & then offers you $50-100 off if you e-check them today only(it's always there - just a different amount) then when you get your invoice there is no discount & when you call or e-mail them about they just get rude & cancel your order. Some sort of scam I think to get you to spend more on something else. Customer service is very rude & the supervisors are no better. When you ask why it's still on there if they don't have it in stock their reply... read full review »

I think they are scheisters, starting with the way they make their website address look like the names of the hotels you're searching, that way you think you're making your reservation through the actual hotel... except for the $30 charge they fail to warn you about until it's too late. Then they say your $30 will be refunded if you cancel your room 2-days prior to your reservation, but then refuse to do so. AVOID!!! read full review »

This is a complete scam. I was offered an Ipod for $399, value $800. I filled out the form for insurance quotes. All I got was a hundred calls for insurance quotes and was never allowed to purchase the ipod. Don't do it. Someone should tell the insurance companies and the other offers what a scam this is. read full review »

Abate December 15, 2010
It is a complete rip (even a direct copy) of central-london-apartments.com and provides some very dodgy methods of payment. It's such a bad rip it even contains some adverts from central-london-apartments.com and a link to their home page in the footer! I feel sorry for anyone who thinks they are a valid booking system for London apartments! read full review »

Do not book any accommodation through this website. I paid GBP380 as a deposit for an apartment in London for one week at Christmas. Once they received my money I received an invoice with a non existent address of the apartment. All phone numbers are disconnected and my emails are not answered. I have been totally stung for a lot of money. read full review »

ANYWHERE BUT HERE!! - On December 13, 2008 I booked a room at the Belnord Hotel in Manhattan's Upper East Side through HotelsCheap.com. When I arrived at the hotel, therewas NO reservation nor was there any record available, to the front desk, through any of the reservation services. Now, this would not be so terrible, except for one thing, the reason I had to go to NY on this sorrowful occassion. My granddaughter, 4 months old, had just passed away, the day before and there I was, in NYC from Palm Beach, with my wife and mother, for a... read full review »

Bait and switch web site. I attempted to buy a canon 7d camera listed for $539.00 with a 1 year USA warranty. When I called I was informed that it was a non USA camera but a import intended for the asian market. Most legit sites when they refer to 1 year USA warranty mean a factory warranty not a site added on warranty.Nowhere in the add did it say anything about it being a import model. this type of advertising may be legal but it is not honest. read full review »

I had a bad feeling after I purchased some products and I never received any response from them via email confirming this. They gave me no tracking number and I was left in the dark. Used online booking form to book a cab... cab never turned up and i didn't receive any confirmation. Phoned the main man who's name and number appear on the website and he was VERY rude and even ended the call on me whilst i was explaining my problem.. He didnt care that no taxi turned up, he said he hasnt recieved the online booking form, i suggested perhaps there was an error with his website in that case and he said 'no i think your the error!' I found this incredibly rude and asked him if i could book a cab through him... read full review »

satdirector December 15, 2010
The site suggests they have a high payout rate. Their comparison chart shows spot rates under their name versus competitors Jan 1st 2010 rates. This implies they pay the posted spot rate. They do not disclaim. When you ask by email if that is true they do not respond. They can not be reached by phone. They do warn not to buy from any one who does not post rates. The fraud is the implied spot rate is what they pay. Based on compaints they pay only a small percentage of the spot rate. What a scam. read full review »

We placed a parts order through their order online section and they never processed it; we didn't find out for a week when we called to see if the parts were in. They refused to do anything to make it right, we requested the parts be overnighted for a cost of $35, but they refused. We were not only told to find the parts somewhere else (which has been difficult and ended up having to order from Singapore) we were told never to step foot in their business or order from their website again. Horrible site, you earn points by watching boring videos (2 points each), logging in (2 points once per day), or taking the daily poll (2 points for the daily poll only). Then you are suppose to somehow save thousands of points up for an iPod or iMac or maby something else. The thing is that they never have anything in stock. iYogi says it will help remotely solve PC problems, and charges $139/month. I had to try 3 times (with 3 different people) to get their remote access to work. Then 1.5 hours of my time later, and speaking with 4 different people (each of whom needed my account #, security question, email address and home ph#), the problem was still unresolved. And it was just a printer issue. Plus I got disconnected during one of the calls, and the technician did not call back--despite having confirmed my email and phone # at the start of the call. read full review »

Hotbattery.co.uk
Criapat December 15, 2010
The website is very professionally laid out but the products do not seem to come from this company, they appear to be acting as a broker for individuals all over the world. This meant that when I ordered a battery from this company I was left to liaise with someone in Hong Kong when trying to return under warranty. The costs associated with returning the product made it a waste of time so the laptop battery went in the bin! I've now ordered a cheaper one elsewhere and made a note not to use this company again. read full review »

This website is to help with a local job search based on area code. After filling in name, address, phone, email address, etc., the site promises thousands of jobs in your area in your field. The next screen - and the following 10 or 12 - are all offers to take classes, purchase items, etc., until you come to the "last straw" screen - about some lottery that promises $50k per week or something for the rest of your life. The problem here is that there is no way out! There is no "Skip" button (as previous screens had) and no... read full review »

The owner of this company also owns a website called stop illegal trucking and posts inncorrect information about competitors of the Yacht transport company. It is obvious that the owner Brooks Gubser, does not like the fact that smaller companies are able to transport boats for less money than he can, so he posts info claming that his competitors are commiting fraud. Ordered a Chef basket Deluxe for a christmas gift as someone wanted it. Ordering was vague and confusing even for your more experienced shoppers, order confirmation was vague and included no confirmation number. You can go to contact us link and then another link and enter your phone number to 'Track" your order which just gives you a automated message saying that due to popular demand your order will ship with in 15 days...which you get from day one way past day 15! I ordered one thing from this site and it took them 3 weeks just to email me back and tell me it was out of stock and on top of that there customer service was rude trying to tell me that they are not a scam and how they been successful for 13 years..ummm BULL!
