A friend purchased DVD season 1 and 2 of Weeds for me for my birthday. Unfortunatley I already purchased season 1 and 2. I took both seasons to the Books a Million where it was purchased, new in the package and with a books a million sticker on the outside (no receipt though), and asked to swap the seasons out for seasons 3 and 4. The manager refused because I didnt have a receipt. A college student tight on cash, I was excited to order inexpensive books that benefit youth literacy. I ordered all my books for the school year June 21st, so they would arrive before school Sept. 2nd. THE ORDER NEVER CAME. My credit card was charged over $160; but after dozens of emails and hours of waiting on the phone, I have heard nothing. No response. So, I ended up having to spend another $350 for books at school--money I don't have. It also hurt me academically as I didn't have time to read my assignments over break. TERRIBLE BUSINESS. Hewlett-Packard needs to admit that they have a problem with their mother board. Buy a turion tl Dv6915NR in 8/2008, had to replace mother board with best buy in 3/2010, then 8 months later, mother board went out again. Call customer service at Hewlett-Packard and got nowhere with them. They won't admit that there is a problem with their products. Well they will never get my money no more. Lifestation Their add says no hidden fees... well that is not entirely true... but it is more like they have surprise fees... Here is what I mean... You go to their website... sign up for the needed service... give them your personal numbers and credit card number and all seems right until the day you get the package... I would like to complain about Wells Fargo / America Servicing. I was trying to get a loan modification. I had the modification for 7 months never late. Wells Fargo/America Servicing/ Wachovia. Denied my loan. then they sold my house and didn't tell me. I didn't know my house was sold until a paper was stuck on my house saying it was sold and i had to move. All this talk about Bank of America but Wells Fargo is worse because they hide behind America Servicing and Wachovia. How can a bank sell your home wihtout at least telling you? In checking bank records I noticed a charge of $99. 95. I inquired about the charge from my bank and was told it was from National Platinum Services. I was given a number to call. Prior to this. I have never heard of this company. I called and spoke to a representative who insisted I have filled out an application online and had authorized the charges. I explained to the representative I had never heard of their company and had never filled out an application and felt my informatin had been obtained by them from someone else. They refused to reimburse my money so I am currently trying to find a way to fight them to have my money reimbursed. read full review »

I received a gas delivery in early December. I didn't receive a bill. I emailed the company and requested a bill-- no response. I called on the 17th 2 times - the first I left a message, later in the day, I called again and talked with a representative, who answers the phone. She said the bill will be in the mail and I would receive it in a few days. On January 1st, when I still had not received the bill, I called again (and recorded my call) asking for the bill. Samsclub.com advertises lower in-club prices -- for various clubs -- for a particular TV (item # 537041) but whenever the item is asked for at the stores the item is either "canceled" or "sold-out", all the while the advertisements with the lower prices keep on remaining on the website, untouched and not corrected. THey had a machine that took your order and I wanted 2 pillows for $20 and after I gave my credit card info they said my bill was $96 and hung up. There was nothing I could do to change it and when I went to the website you can't call them or see your order to change it or anything. I should've known not to deal with a machine, it was too weird. Then I saw alot of other complaints saying this company ripped them off too. I ordered 13 boxes of Chocolate Peanut Crunch Power Bars (Pria 110 Plus) from this company. I'd never heard of them before but assumed that they were reputable because they were partnered with Amazon.com. When the shipment arrived at my house, the box looked fine and intact; however, when I opened it, I discovered that ALL 13 boxes of the Power Bars were damaged. This hotel refused to give my husband and I a room, not once but twice. I called the "Customer Service" Number for Days Inn, and Flo told me that their was nothing that she could do it was up to the hotel managment. The manager, told me that if I have a complaint to call "Obama at the White House" because he can refuse service to any "american woman" he wants too, because that is his right. "Customer Service" told me that there is "nothing that she or anyone at the home office can do but send the complaint back to the manager." That was who started this whole mess.
