I wanted to purchase two ounces of gold coin. After placing an order for 2 gold American Eagles. They said that Swiss 20 Francs were more private. I discussed it with Marc who said that he could change the order to 8 Swiss Francs which were comparable and I would even get a few dollars back. We did. Paperwork read that I was to make $15 an hour, which guaranteed $30 a week at the high school, plus some private tutor sessions provided by the veteran tutor. Well not only was the contact person a bad speller (hello, we're supposed to be TUTORS), but rather unresponsive to emails, phone calls, and texts. She sent me on a private tutoring session only to get a text when I arrived that it was cancelled. After working for 6 weeks, I got only one check for a quarter of the hours I worked. This company has repeatedly charged my debit card, even AFTER they sent me an email stating, "We have cancelled your Stay Smokeless subscription and you will not receive any further monthly shipments." HEAT USA is nothing what they claim to be. Every time you call to check your price that you are "TOLD" by the oil company you have to pay, USA tells you that's the correct price. I have spoken to the owner of the oil company that Heat USA gave me who told me at times I have to pay higher price then his own customers. Agreed to a free water test. After 4.5 hours of sales pitch I finally agreed to the water softner. They installed the next day. Installer really excited about showing me the -dirt- in my water. I never signed up for this service. It has charged $1 to my credit card for over a year and I thought it had something to do with my credit card service. I called them and they told me it was not in relation to my card. I called the number listed by the charge and got the run around - they would not accept my phone number as my access code and wanted my credit card number. We purchase 23 boxes of LED Icicle Outdoor Lights to decorate our home for the Xmas Season. Last season (2009) worked fine; this season (2010) all we did was replace bulb after bulb to keep the lights lite. Finally we discovered that the sockets on the string of lights were corroded; causing the lights to short out and not work again. The cost of these lights were over $250. The mortgage broker we worked with created delays in our closing date of over a month and a half. She would continually lose paperwork, even a check we sent her for the appraisal of the property.
