I was given a Shark Cordless SV800 vacuum as a Xmas present. There was NOTHING in the manual that indicated operating time other than the battery pack needed a 24 inital charge. The charging light went off after the 24hours and the vacuum worked well and ran for about 45 mins. before shutting down. However, after that first use and charging the battery pack again for 24 hours the charging light did not go off, so I insertedt the battery pack into the vacuum, but it ran for only 15 minutes. I have a product protection agreement on a kenmore refrigerator freezer. It malfunction on around December 23, 2010. I called for service on 12-24-10. I was told that service could not be provided until 12-29-10, between the hours of 8am-12pm. On 12-28-10 I received a confirmation for my appointment. On 12-29-10 after 10am I received a call saying that the repairman was unable to to provided me with service. My son and I took the Gate 1 tour of Italy in December 2010. We have both Cricket phone and internet services. The cell service is decent at best quite a few dead spots but ok for the pricel. Internet seller, michelniques.com refuses to do an exchange of a Christmas gift because I purchased it more than 30 days prior. DUH some of us do our Christmas shopping early. Most retailers relax their return/exchange policies around Christmas time. This website has a .co.uk domain and a banner stating "free UK delivery" not to mention a .co.uk email address. However it turns out that it's address is a Louisiana PO Box. This site comes up at the top of Google when you look for European health card. They have the brass neck to charge £9.99 for an EU Health Insurance Card or to renew your current one. They leave a large gap on the page before they mention that you can also get the card from the NHS site, which means you will almost definitely miss that message. If you require an ESTA form which is for trips to the USA without a visa be very careful where you apply. Google bring this site up at the top of the search and in fact its a CON. They try and charge $40 for something that costs nothing directly from the US Embassy site. No doubt there are many more but surely Google had some responsibilty to minitor these sites.
