I haven't ordered anything from Midnight Velvet but I found they have put a negative item on my credit report. I have tried to contact this company for months and haven't been able to reach anyone to resovle this issue. This company needs to supply accurate information to consumers. discount web member sites llc
Duked November 10, 2010
I noticed a check debit from my banking account for $49.99, when I called the company "Discount Web Member Sites aka 77ClubCS.com" the representative with poor English told me that I accepted terms online from their company which I did not and that they do not make any refunds. When asked to speak to a supervisor conveniently there was none available. I contacted my bank and they will reverse the charge and I am closing my bank account just in case this happens again. I believe this is in connection with Ameriloan, I did an online cash advance just a day before the fraud activity took place. Never again! read full review »

Best Brand Values/Hot Movie Sale
Dee L November 10, 2010
A total scam!!! Found a great price on and OLD movie through these people who were then listed as a source on Amazon.com. Since I trust Amazon I ordered the movie. Buried in the " fine print" under the "terms and conditions" you must agree to before you can SUBMIT the order is apparently some sort of monthly membership for a company called Best Brand Values. Since my spouse also uses the same credit card, it took us 6 months to figure out that neither of us had knowingly authorized this monthly charge! We learned a hard lesson... read full review »

Goldline International/Gold
C.G. Langford November 10, 2010
Several months ago I called Goldline for prices on some Gold coins. I told them that I wanted $30, 000 worth of the 1 oz Maple Leafs. The salesman then advised me that it would be in my best interest to purchase some Sovereign Gold Coins. Not being familliar with the coins, I asked him what the weight of them was. He said that they were just under 1/2 oz. They were under 1/2 oz. A 1/4 oz to be exact. I bought 29 coins at $480.21 each and 13 Maple leafs just a little over spot price. It was a dumb thing to do, but I trusted them, thinking they... read full review »

I have never seen such poor customer service. I was browsing the site for a child's toy, which I considered buying. Without my even entering my email on the site, it somehow sent me an email claiming that I had registered for their site, which I never did, and said something very confusing leading me to believe that they had charged my PayPal account for an item. When I emailed them to inquire as to why I was receiving emails from them and had they really thought I had made a purchase, I was hurled with a slew of insults that continued on... read full review »

Tru Green / Chemlawn
Rick November 10, 2010
I used TruGreen/Chemlawn for three years (my bad) to provide monthly insect prevention and fertilizing services to my centipede lawn. The first year they did a fine job, but their work and diminished after 2006. The technician, on several occasions, was stopped by ME prior to application of LIME. You don't put LIME on centipede. The fertilizer was overdone to the point that the grass died in a large patch right at the street. Customer Service was contacted about this, and responded immediately with several patches of centipede turf - but... read full review »

Autocity Sales
Patrick November 10, 2010
Purchased a car that I was told had no defects and as to their knowledge was in great condition. Their ad stated all of their cars were inspected and in good shape. Purchased As-Is believing they had inspected the car for flaws and as it turns out the car has a bad transmission, bad A/C, bad ball joints, and more. Between the transmission and the A/C it needs over $4, 200 in repairs, not counting the other stuff, which I won't bother listing. Car purchased for $2, 999. After fees it was $3, 500 worth of a junk and useless car. Repairs cost far exceeds purchase price and Kelley Blue Book Value of Car. read full review »

I had evaluated several CMS-1500 paper claim software packages and went with Medical Form Software based on it's ease of use. For the last 50 years I have purchased Hillshire Farms Ham consistently. Hillshire Hams are often higher priced, however, I have been willing to pay the extra for the higher quality product. This week I purchased a 17.5 lb. Hillshire Farms Ham that cost me over $50.00 and it smelled and tasted like BOAR so bad we could hardly eat it. This site requires a 48 hour cancellation policy, even if you book the day of reservation...they back date your reservation to 48 hours prior. Some of the hotels they advertise do not take pets, and when I got to the hotel I booked, (Red Carpet Inn North Syracuse) with my dog, and the same day I booked the reservation, I was advised that pets of any size or kind were not allowed, and I was turned away.
